If I am 17, and I'm looking for a rehab to go to for 3 months out of my state, who would I go to? I can't seem to find one that will take a minor...

Hey BooBoo, i'm sorry that you're having difficulty finding a rehab that will take you. Have you talked to your family physician.? perhaps they can help. you find a place. You are 17, when is your birthday? Can you find an out of state rehab that will take you when you turn 18? If your under your parent's insurance, perhaps they have info.as many employers have a person working in administration that handles problems with addiction for employees and their family members. Also you can go to an Addictions Therapist and ask about out of state rehabs. I'm wondering what your reasons are for wanting to go out of state? If there was a rehab within your state , would you not go if there was a bed? Does your parent(s) know about the problem and your wish to go to rehab?
