What does everyone collect? I collect Elephants. I respect their family structure strength and gentleness their willingness to defend and help each other.. 6 yrs or so ago the count was over 350 Don't know now :) lesa

is it just a woman thing? I don't know never really thought about.... seeksolice my daughter also collects turtles for the same reason, she has one tattooed on her foot. I guess I should say I also collect tattoo's I have two, one around my ankle of my kids names and another that is a flower,,,I hope to add to the collection soon, I want a dragon fly on my foot and a thorny vine around the kids names...am I crazy at my age getting tattoo's probably but they make me happy...any one else with tattoo's?

I collect dust. I like to display my collections all over the house, on any horizontal surface. I also like to collect dog hair, which I gather up every now and then and store in my vacuum bag.

alright Jaqui since you shared a secret i will share one with you and only you..no one else read..lmao!! I still sleep with my pillow that i got for my 3rd birthday! its of course winnie the pooh. not that you can tell the prints on it now. my kids even know that its off limits to them. even goes on vacation with me cuz i cant sleep without me. When i travel its my carry on cuz i would never put it in a checked bag...what if they lost it?!?! lol. oh and i call it "my pooh"..LOL!!!

I collect Disney Globes! The musical ones. I have about 15 of them but when i find one i love i just have to have it. Kids are not allowed to touch them. My fav of course being Winnie the Pooh Bear ones. I have this awesome one that is actually open and they all are ice skating around. They are so pretty.

I Love Lucy stuff  and Amish stuff. I have Amish books, dolls, and hats, and little Amish boy and girl clothes hanging on a peg hook. My husband can't stand it.

I LOVE knicknacks!!!!!  I have a lot of them too, lol....apparently I'm a pack rat too...I have a hard time letting anything go, either for sentimental reasons, or just that I hate to get rid of anything that still functions, or that I might use someday, lol...much to my husband's chagrin...   I also like to be surrounded by cool and pretty stuff...no harm there I suppose eh?

im the biggest pack rat in th world I think...i collect everything. Primarily books. More books than I could ever read in my entire life, even if i read 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but that doesnt stop me from buying more. I also collect Scooby Doo things, windchimes, animal and nature nick knacks/ceramics,  candles,... and fridge magnets

Ok if I had the space I would collect Snowmen and Santas...

But I currently have Longaberger Baskets... but due to costs and seeing as how I should feed my kid...I don't purchase them anymore! But I have enough to get by for now! :)

I love elephants...but again the space....

Vic..you & my husband too...he takes up more space than me w/his hunting & fishing stuff... I will lay claim to some of the camping stuff since I camp too... but we need a whole well...like he wants Hunting Cabin for that stuff!!! LOL

I would then decorate that cabin in cool hunting, fishing, camping bear themed stuff! But in a nice manly way!

okay lostdreams....don't tell anybody this, shhhhhh.....but I have a stuffed black dog that I lay with...I saw it at Toys R Us when my kids were younger, and I wanted it so badly...my husband bought it for me...it fits perfectly for laying with as comfort, and a pillow, and a cushion for my boo-boo ribs...

Hey, I thought of something here....do unintentional collections count?  If so, I have a "collection" of magazines, material and yarn, art supplies, jewelry-making supplies, clothes that are too small, movies, CDs, and just tons and tons of books......

I collect turtles.

For me, turtles signify wisdom, peace, beauty, tranquility. I <3 turtles.

Not sure how many I have, but I have turtle candles, turtle clothing, turtle earrings, turtle stickers, turtle statues, turtle wall decor, turtle knick knacks.

Lost I can see you cuddled up with your bear, bankie and thumb while your Angles watch out after you, but we won't tell :)))) JK I have 5 bears my Son's and Hubby have given me they are precious..

Sad I too have a sm. collection of Indian stuff I have a fascination with the culture and the spiritual beliefs..

I refer to elephants as "eggants" btw.....that's what I called them as a kid apparently...and rhinoceroses (sp, lol) were frynosters...I have no idea why I shared that here, but it is Friday, so can that be my excuse?

my aunt collected elephants. She had some really nice ones. There is a picture of an elephant and a little girl sitting down together with their backs to the camera. Its really cool.

I collect all things indian..peacepipes,pottery,drumbs etc..i have the coolest picture hanging in my living room of sitting bull..LOVE it!!

Me-to-You teddy bears.....ok i think everyone is getting to see i am a big baby! Admitted i suck my thumb in another post and now admitted i collect teddy bears (only the Me-To-You ones though). LOL

Oh and anything about Angels...i have loads of stuff about Angels. Magazine articles, books, pictures....that kinda stuff.
