Day 128!!!

Hello~  My head is really out of the fog now and I am loving life!  It truly is amazing when you start to really come out the other side.  I had to pull myself up so many times while detoxing off Suboxone.  It was hell, but IF you just hang on, you will make it.  You HAVE to really want it too.  It really has been a roller coaster ride for me.  I was hooked on opiates for 16 years.  I didn't want to TOTALLY surrender until September 15th, 2011.  I got TIRED!  I am done chasing it.  I am almost 41 and wasted so much time.  I have 2 felonies and because of my addiction.  I am a GOOD person that did BAD things.
I HAD to fight when I was detoxing this time.  I wanted it SO bad.  I got it!  I go to meetings to keep my spirit growing.  It is so good to be with people who understand me.  I also have a great love for NATURE.  I need to get myself alone and walk and look around and notice all of God's little miracles.  The stuff that really matures in this world.  The stuff that doesn't change, as us humans keep changing with technology.
I think back to my walks in Virginia.  I was staying with my brother.  I was on this walk and I was feeling like crap.  I didn't want to be out walking, but I wanted to get better fast.  I stopped at this dead end one day and there was a sign, "No Trespassing".  It made me sad.  I looked into the woods and looked at the light that was shining through the trees and onto the quiet leaves and the spider webs and I started to cry!  It brought me back to when I was a kid.
The other thing I love to watch, was Squirrels.  They live their lives the way they always have.  They don't have computers to do any of their work.  They STILL collect their nuts for the winter.  They help each other.  THEY HAVEN'T CHANGED WITH TECHNOLOGY!!!

Just think about it~
