Day 4 Suboxone

I am a addict for opiods.  I was abuseing way to many for way to long.  I am on day four of suboxone had so many chances to have a perc here or crush a roxy there but have been able to say no and im not sick.  Yet i still have this overwhelming presence on me to say screw this because i feel way to normal just ...BLAH.... it *****. Will this feeling of hateing normal ever go away or is life this bad and plain sober.  I want to be clean really i do i am just frustrated with normality im not happy or talkitive or energetic nothing i just feel like sitting here doing nothing cause  im not high.   HELP......

It says right there in the rx pamphlet false sense of happiness. That's why we take them. What else do you find pleasure in? I'm still searching for that high on life feeling but it never does. We took a camping trip memorial wkwnd & came home early because we ran out of pills and didn't want to drive without them. They just ruin everything!  And fyi suboxone was the most painful drug I've ever came off of.
Hang in there. You either quit by choice or death. Dramatic I know but I've lost several friends. I'm sure we all have lost at least one & here we are... think they'd rather trade places...

Well it does get better just don't screw up and do what i have out of bordem or because you have extra money. iv'e tried the pill's hydro's after takin sub and im still on sub thank god it does seem boring it is just because we got so use to happy go lucky and weeee everything is s wonderfull im the life of the party and oh im going to plant flowers and so on and so on planting flowers and allisnormal but with thehydro's everything just seemed so fun and extra fun @that without the hydro it's like oh flower's oh people to talk to i don't feel like talking all that kinda stuff if ya know what i mean i have been on sub for a couple of month's switched to methadone one time that was pure hell (anyway the sub do work if you let them and your spunk will come bk iand you will see if you do any hydro's after taking the sub for a couple of weeks that you weren't having fun with thim and they don't and won't bring any pleasure to yourlife anymore they will make you sick as a dog and you will wonder why in the hell you ever took them in the first place the sub DOESwork so work it and you will be happy again it will just take a couple of wks or so:)

I feel the exact same way. I feel like my life is so much better when i'm taking percs. This past December I was clean for about a month and a half before i relapsed but, i got my energy back and started to feel normal again aftr a week or so of being clean. I imagine that everyone is different but, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If you stick with it you will eventually feel better than you did while you were using because you won't be soo dependent on the pills anymore.. That thought alone is the only thing that keeps me going thru the w/ds. Today is my day 3 (again) and hopefully it will be the last day 3 i ever have.
Goodluck and just remember that even though it *****, you will get through it.

congrats on your first day again tell yourself that this time will be the time you quit. Before the pills i played lots of sports but cause of a motorcycle crash i am unable to do that anymore thats why im on these pills (chronic pain) i did and still do sing and play guitar but its way more fun and i feel like i am so much better when useing.

Hi I totally understand where you are coming from I feel like my life is boring so I like to pop pills to make it less boring or to atleast not care that is why I have relapsed so many times I guess we need to find fun things to do lol what did you do before drugs came into ur life? Oh and congrats on 4 days clean I'm on day one for the umpteenthousandth time lol
