Favorite song

what is your favorite song and why? mine is led zepplin stairway to heaven. The ltrics all together dont make sense but man what an awesomw song and the guitar solo wooo. My second favorite song is belluah wood by garth brooks. This song has a strong message and keeps me going "heavens not beyond the clouds its just beyond the fear. No heavens not beyond the clouds its for us to find it here."

I love KD Lang's version of Alleluia..brings chills to my spine..And I'm not a big KD Lang fan..I'm a Grateful Dead, Allman Bros, Clapton and Springsteen fan.

But I love and can't get enough of Neil Young's "Harvest Moon".  Takes me back in time several years ago, and old girlfriend (before I was married) and how wonderful the times we had were.  

But give me a rockin' live version of Cadillac Ranch by Bruce, or "Johnny 99" or Glory Days, or a hot version of Sugar Magnolia or Truckin' by the Dead...or another one of my favorites...Standing on the Moon by the Dead  "somewhere in San Francisco, on a back porch in July.."  

Or... Frank Sinatra singing "Summer Wind" or Neil Diamond singing "Forever in Blue Jeans' or September Morn...takes me back to a time when taking a cross country train zipping through the desert somewhere in Utah, in  the loung car, drinking wine..and hearing that song...I'll never forget that moment.

I love Canadians!!  I really don't descriminate,though. If you're nice,I like ya!  My Grandfather was reared in Canada,went to school there etc...then headed south because that's where my grandmother lived. Ah...love!
