Hi guys! I'm pretty stressed out, and I going to let you know I'll probably not be on  so as much for a while.
Theres things going in my life that will keep me from the computer. However I'll pop in when I can.
I'll be lurching around, and jump in when I think I can be of some help, or should I need support, I
won't hesitate to ask, but I have some thing to accomplish and this project will take hours of my
time to make happen. You can call it a goal. You might see me once a day instead for hours a day.
But I won't be having alot of time . I'll be freeed up from all this in mid November. On days off when I have extra time I'll be here more. So, having said that I hope you're all doing fine and dandy, and those suffering with the w/d's I sure hope things are looking better or brighter for you. I will be out  here for a while, this won't begin till next week.       Cathy

I am so happy you get to see your son!!!  What an amazing feeling that is going to be!  Oh honey I have said it before but you must be SO proud!!  You better tell him thank you for me or else missy! lol  There are not words to express how greatful I am to the military of this Country.  If it wasn't for them, we could not have the freedoms we enjoy.  No matter what anyone's political view, we owe them everything.  Your son rocks!!

I don't know about wisdom, but humor a must. If I got one smile out of someone suffering, Then  i've done my job. I've always said God put me here for a reason. And I've always known it was to get a smile out of someone.

Girl you are too sweet. Guess what. I just booked my flight. I am extatic. I will be on that pier when the U.S.S Normandy pulls in from being at sea for all of our freedom for the last six months. You can't imagine how much grey hair that kid has given me. I'm so happy! thanks for the banners. I love ya girl. Everyone has been so supportive, its unreal!

We all have our lives to live but doesnt mean we love each other less..........................we are all going back to work, raising kids, taking care of ourselves, or all the above.   I feel bad when Im only here once or twice late at night but I think of y'all during the day.

Im hangin' out a couple of times a day till one week from today.  Then I will be gone for about 10 days.  I will be in a tiny town with one major store.  Its a little boutique and the woman who works there lets me use her computer but probably will have time only once every few days.    I will be back on the 14th of October though.


I still say we figure a way to all get together sometime in the not so distant future.

I know..............lets all go with Cathy and bring a welcome back banner for her son!!! lol!!!   Or, lets not tell her and have a "We love LONOTE" banner!!!!!  LOL!

Aren't teenage boys the best? Lol, I have one of them as well, just turned 14! Couldn't wait for him to get this age, now i wish he was my lil 2 year old again. Oh god, just to be able to have him back there for one more day, i would love that! They grow up way too fast! They go from saying the sweetest things, to saying the weirdest things, hehehaha!

I sure will miss you.  I will look forward to seeing you when you pop in and I can completely understand the need to focus on work and the goal that will get you to your son.  I will think of you and pray for you and be thankful that I know you.  

It is hard for me too now when I go days w/o being in touch with you all like earlier this week.  I appreciate this group of amazing people so much.  I'll be around as much as I can but work is quite demanding and I am thankful I have had time today to play with you all.

So, everyone, stay well, sober, and happy and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you daily!!!

This forum is addicting, and whether I'm loving you guys or bumping heads with some as I have in the past, first of all I appologise, hopeless that means you i'm sorry to be hard on you but a foot up your behind will make you succeed at this thing called sobriety, clean time, or just putting our lives back together again. I know I need a foot knee deep sometimes. I could be emailing my son more, but I'm stuck to this thing, and I'll tell you all, i'm not rich, and I got to make this trip happen, So I need to work extra cause when my son comes home I will be on that pier. WOW! I have always wanted to go on a cruise! A friend of mine who i used to be best friends with growing up, (who i haven't been in touch with for many many years) called me out of the blue about a year ago. We talked on the phone for hours. She got married to a Doctor, and is living the high life. Anyway, she was saying how she misses me and wanted me to go on a cruise with her, all expenses paid. Just a girl getaway, and i turned her down! I am so regretting that now...The reason i turned her down, was cause of lack of pills i had at the time. Damm, these pills...See what they make us miss out on. No more though, i am done with that ****!

So girl, if you can go with hubby on a cruise, you go for it!

One of these days, after i get my life back to complete normal, i will do a girl getaway and finally get my cruise!    ( - :

PS...Ask hubby if i can just go with you 2, Lol.....

I agree...I never use to let myself go like this..But i had a one track mind...And it was counting , thinking and worrying about pills..my apperance has suffered..So i will start slow, then my hubby said he would get me a massage...shoot he wants to take me on a cruise when i am 6 months clean, now a massage, If i would of known this c ra p  i would of told him a yr ago..LOL

I agree...There comes a time that we forget all about us. So for you taking some time to worry about you, i think that is wonderful! I am going to do the same thing. I used to have my nails done and all that fun stuff, but it has been so long since i have done anything for me, besides look for pills. It is so good to hear that so many here are getting their lives back.

ya'll pop in when ya'll can...me too, i have some things coming up that i won't be on all day like before.LOL I love this forum...But i need to get my life back too..i decided to go back to work..not full time..And i need to start taking care of me again..like get my nails done, feet, the things that were not important to me when i was using..
So hopefully i will look a little better:)

I can't spend as much time either. I am just so busy at work. I will be on as much as possible. You keep me posted by e-mail. Sorry you're feeling stressed and know how much you miss your son.
