OK. Heres mine.....
As most of you know my daughter has been threw some pretty terrible things in her little life. Right after she was diagnosed and we were told of the surguries she would have to go threw i prayed that she would have a gaurdian angel to watch over her and keep her safe during all she would go threw. It was about 2 weeks b4 her first surgery she was 18 months old, i put her in her crib for bed and about 1/2 later i heard her talkin and laughing. She never did anything like this b4. It kinda scared me so i went back to her room and opened her dorr. She was sittin in her crib, turned the opposite way, looking at the corner of her room. She turned really fast and stopped. I asked what she was doing and she just giggled. I just thought she was being silly so i kissed her and left the room. The next night it happened again and then continued for months. She would get so loud with the laughing and such some nights but everytime i opened the door she turned and stopped. She was always looking at the same corner of her room. Well one night i heard her so instead of opening the door i stood outside of her room and listen. She was talking and said the name Charlie. I got freaked so i went in. I said who is Charlie. Now remember she has been "talking and laughing" like this every night for like 2 months.. She said her friend. I asked were did u met him, she said he comes to play everynight. In her way of talk of course. We dont know anyone named Charilie and i thought about cartoons but none had that name. The next day i was thinking about it and i thught of a friend of mine bthat passed away from cancer the year b4. His name was Charlie. I was like..NO way. I took out some pics and layed them out. One of the pics was of my friend Charlie that died. She was like 2 months when he died so she would never remember him. I layed all these pics out and asked her if her friend Charlie was in the pics and I s*** you not she pointed to my friend Charlie. I truly believe he became her gaurdian angel during all her stuff she went threw. I wished i could have seen him like she was able to every night. This went on everynight until about 2 months after her last surgery and then he was gone. She actually cried one night and said she wanted "her Charlie" back. I have always believed in ghosts and spirits but after ths experience i know they are real. So..thank you Charlie for taking care of my baby! We all miss you
WOW isnt that great. I read that twice just to make sure i read it right!!!!! Simply amazing and what a great comfort that had to be. Does she remember Charlie now??
We were all at my mom and dads place for Easter and my daughter got out her camera right before we all left. Now b4 my dad died he would only talk to her as she would ask him hi grandpa how are you and he would say plain as day "i am fine" as he knew she was the worry wort. He would try and talk to my brother and i but couldnt get any words out. My dad died at home mind you so anyway she takes this picture of my mother with my nephews and my grandson and she showed me the picture later and said oh this is a good picture of all of them and i noticed this white spot on the wall with a cloudy figure coming off the white spot(which was rather cloudy too) and i asked her what it was and was it on any other pics....we looked and no spots. Well his bedroom was down that hallway that the camera was facing and he loved those little boys with all his heart so we are thinking it was my dad. It happened to be on his birthday and on her camera. I showed the minister this pic and he said oh ya that is your dads spirit. He was looking over all of you that day. I miss him sooooooooooo bad.
yes..if you ask her about Charlie now she just says she misses him and that he was funny! so weird but it was a comfort to know he was watching over her when we couldnt be in the operating room with her and such!
I was just amazed at her being 18 months old and that was going on. You wonder why they pick certain people to present themselves too. AND then to pick his picture out and call him by name!!!! Oh what a comfort to send your child into surgery knowing she had a guardian angel. My one daughter had a surgical procedure done shortly after my dad died and when she was coming out of the anesthesia she said mom did grandpa think the docs did a good job cuz he was standing by me. She still insists he was there. Ive always thought why wont he let me see him ya know??
About 3 days after my dog, Comet (best dog in the world) died, I heard her slide off the leather couch and walk across the tile floor, like I had heard her do hundreds of times before. I stopped dead in my tracks, because I just knew it was her. Strange thing is, my other dog, MiMi, heard it too. She went to the couch to look.
After my brother died we had a small service at Hospice. My sister's and I set up a beautiful spread of food. While cleaning up after, I snuck outside to smoke a cigarette. My cell phone went off twice with a voice mail alert. I couldn't understand why it went straight to voice mail and also who the heck was calling me today, as everyone knew where I was. The voice mails consisted of weird static. I listened to them a couple times and then they were gone. They deleted themselves, which had never happened before. I guess because of my emotion state, I was certain these calls were from my brother. I was just sure of it. It was spooky, but somehow calming. I was sure it was him calling to say what a nice spread we put together.
I later found out that a friend ( who didn't know my brother passed) was trying to reach me. So it was probably her, but I really prefer to think it was my brother calling.lol
i've had a number of experiences in my life that lead me to believe, without a shadow of a doubt, there are definitely spirits (or whatever else you may call them) among us.
too many times, too many things...
but never a negative feeling. always positive and light.
Yes, I do. I have had a few experiences. I am pizzed that A & E took off one of my favorite shows........'Paranormal"........grrrrrrrrrr
I just saw something similiar to that on court tv.......o excuse me True tv!!!! They have them on there too.
Well, I am a nurse and at every hospital that I have worked at there is always a ghost story to be told to the new employee. I always thought yeah, right. Well, I was working in a very small hospital in middle Georgia that had a ghost story about a baby. The baby had been born when the hospital had a labor and delivery room.(long gone by the time I worked there) The story went that the baby had died in the delivery room but you could still hear it cry from time to time. Everyone swore that employees and patients had heard this baby cry and if it was heard that someone in the hospital would die within 24 hours. I thought they were crazy until one hectic night I was working in the ER. We had a man in respiratory arrest and I ran out of the ER to go and get another IV pole down the hall. As soon as I stepped out of the room I heard a baby cry. The hair on the back of my neck stood up and I stopped in my tracks. It was as plain as day. I had heard "the" baby cry. There were no babies in the hospital and no visitors had babies. The man in the ER died later that night. Also, I'm living in my grandparents home. They passes away a few years ago and I'm sure they've been to visit me a couple of times. I sleep with my tv on and so does my daughter. My granddaddy hated for the tv to be on after 11pm. I woke up one morning and both tvs were turned off, nothing else in the house, just them. I feel very safe out here in the country knowing they're looking after me.
i got quivers reading some of these. ty for sharing. gonna need a nightlight on now, lol
When I was a kid, my mom and dad had friends that lived in a remote area of New Jersey, famous for stories about, and for, the New Jersey Devil....anyway....these folks were into seances and all that stuff...my parents were not...not that the devil, New Jersey's or otherwise, visited, it just set the mood I guess...
They had a two-year old son named Chris. Me and my sis hung with him that day, and alot of weird stuff happened. We were uneasy, for some reason, to go to a certain area on the second floor of their house...Don't know why, we just were...it creeped us both out. Me and my sis took a nap, forced by mom, in the parent's bed....the radio kept going on and off...at first, we ignored it, but after a while, it freaked us out, and we ran into the youngin's room..He kept yelling, "Ghost! Ghost! Ghost!"
We ran our a$$es downstairs and did not go back up! Later, my dad took a pic of their kid in front of a window....it was back in the '70's, you know, when dinosaurs roamed?....and they had a polaroid camera....when the pic developed, their son was there of course, but so was a much taller, older boy....you could see his feet sticking out under the curtains, and his face through the curtains....
My dad had had a few beers and decided it wouldn't be safe to drive us all the way back to Philly. The friends asked my parents, after dinner, and before bed, if they wanted to participate in their seance, and my parents said no....they went up to bed. Sometime in the night, I think it was around 3 in the morning, not that it matters, my dad, came RUNNING down the stairs screaming.....He was not a man to admit any weakness, fear, or anything of the sort....and was considered a "tough" customer if you know what I'm sayin'....He would not tell anybody what happened in front of us kids...
Now, I don't have a clue what happened that weekend, really, but it gave me the creeps at the time....
like i told you today i have a great one as soon as i can get my mind back on track lol
love ya bobby
My grandmother died and about a year later my mother woke up in the middle of the night and woke my father. He asked her what was wrong and she told him that they had to go to the cemetary. When he asked her why, she said that her mother came to her in a dream and told her that she couldn't breathe. My dad told her that her mother was dead and that it was all my mother's imagination that gave her the dream. My mother insisted that they go to the cemetary. My father told her that he wasn't going to any cemetary at four o'clock inthe morning and that she should go back go back to sleep and that they would go in the morning. The next morning thay went to the cemetary and as they approached the grave they noticed that the headstone had fallen over on to the grave. That night my mother said she was awakened by a feeling that she had been kissed on the cheek and as she came awake she noticed a shimmering mist that slowly disappeared. Until my mother died she swore that it had to be her mother thanking her for getting the stone off of the grave. There are countless stories of ghosts no matter what part of the world you go to and that begs the old saying,"Where there's smoke there's fire."
In my eighty two years of life I have had only one experience that I am still, to this day, wondering if I had indeed seen a ghost. I had a habit as a kid of being very curious. There was an old house that had been unoccupied for many years. One day I decided to sneak in to see what, if anything, had been left behind. It was on a Saturday morning shortly before noon that I tore open the screen on one of the back windows ripped of theboards covering the window, opened it and climbed in with my buddy eddie right behind me. We were in the house for about six or seven minutes when Eddie let out a yowl and scurried for the window shouting that something was moving on the stairway. I looked and couldn't see anything at first and then I saw what appeared to be a shadow moving along the wall. Neddless to say I followed Eddie out the window and I think we broke a world's record running to my house. When we talked about it I said to Eddie that it must have been the sun shining through the windows upstairs and perhaps the shadow was from a waving curtain. Eddie then reminded me that all the windows were boarded up. I must have turned white because my sister who believed that the house had ghosts said," I thought you said nothing scares you, now look in the mirror Mr. Tough guy!" According to my sister,a body had beendiscovered in that house forty or fifty years before and that very inhabitant of that house moved out almost as fast as they moved in citing that there was something in there that made them uncomfortable and others said that there was a ghost. When I asked my father about it he said that that was the first he heard of it and didn't recall hearing any of the stories. Yet with no light coming from any window, other than the one we climbed into and it had no curtain, what made the shadow on the wall and it was moving down not up as a bottom window would have made it do? That was the only time I ever had a possible ghostly experience. I have had periods of Deja Vu and phsycic expereinces but no more with ghost.
paranormal state is back on A & E. On monday nights. it is awesome this season. I looooove it.
I have had some very weird experiences but I am not sure if I will write about the one..but the other happened when I was about 14, there was a bad thunderstorm so I couldn't sleep..I am a wimp..lol during thunderstorms was one thing being deaf in my right ear has always helped, because I would ,and still do only sleep on my left side..anyway, the thunder and lightening was so bad i had opened my eyes and standing about 4 ft away was a boy, he wasn't transparent, had no expression on his face at all and he looked to be about 8-9yrs..I closed my eyes and my heart was beating out of my chest ,and in the back of my mind I was thinking i am going to kick my brothers a$$..but yet I knew it wasn't him because my brother didn't look anything like this little boy, anyway, curious, I opened my eyes again and this time that little boy was closer to me,still no expression but looking dead in my eyes, I of course was freaking out and pulled the covers over my head, and yes, I had to look one more time and the kid was standing next to my bed..I mean right next to it!!! just staring at me so blank. I pulled the covers over my head and never looked again. Morning came i jumped out of bed to go beat my brother up and just as I had already known, my bedroom door was still locked. (i had a real lock, not the one you can stick something in to pop it)..So I was freaked out..it never happened again but I never opened my eyes again once they were shut..lol true story..
I have some other really weird things that have happened with my mother..I'll have to gear up for that..she has some weird "sense" going on with her..always has.I'll write about that in a few..and mind you all..I do not believe in this stuff either..but yet it happened..weird..if i ever get enough guts I'll write about me,my friend Jacqui and a giant cross in the sky..yep..a cross..I had a witness which is the only reason why i ever told anyone.lol
Ok here is one of mine..
I have 3 children and they are all adopted...my last one little prscious girl she was addicted to coke so we had our hands full she came to us only 4.3 lbs,..anyway we bought this really really old house which we redone i have pics of it. We live in the middle of the desert and all the indians here are always telling us to watch out for the skinwalkers specially were we are in such a old house..when we moved in my little one was 6mo old. before this let me tell you that she had a sister that died before she was born at the age of 3 that she still dosnt know about and i had triplets that died 1 girl and 2 boys, they had real dark hair her sister was blonde like her..ok, we moved in and then in about a week later i would wake up to her mobile above her crib going and no one had turned it on, i would go in her room and she would just stair at the celing...that kept happening more and more in the night so i got rid of mobile and got another and the same thing started happening, decided thats all that was happening then i dont need to worry..time went on to were she was about 3 then came the giggeling and like whispering in the night, i would go in her room and she would be in her little canopy bed sitting up lauphing, I would ask her what was going on and she started telling me about her brothers and sisters that would come and play and she said mommy one looks like me, ok iam freaking out at this time but what can i do right...so this went on for awhile then it started turning bad she would wake up yelling and crying so i would go in there and she would say that there was this little boy that keeps coming in kicking the wall in the cornor and was really mean to her and her sisters and brothers are trying to help her and he would get on her canopy and keep peaking at her and that he lived in the attic, about a week of this she was starting to wake up with bruses on her arms were she said he would pinch her..I moved her into my room w me while we redid her room, as we knocked one wall down she said thats the wall the boy in the attic would kick, as we were knocking down we found a little wood box with little army men in it, i freaked and didnt know what to do so i went out and buried it...after all that and her room was a redone nothin happend sence....about 2 yrs ago a older couple told us of this coal miner that lived in our house like 60 yrs or more ago and while he was gone his wife flipped out and put their little boy up in the hot attic and locked him in were he died and she hung herself in the house......why it all stopped as fast as it begun i have no idea..my little one is 8 now and will still sometimes tell me how she misses her brothers and sister but is so happy the mean boy dont come to her anymore!!!!!!
OMG..that is so freaky!! Kinda like my daughter talking to Charlie. I am glad the mean boy left!! Freaky Freaky story! Do u have a pic of her sister that passed by any chance? someday if u tell her about that sister i wonder if she would reconize her in the pic?
no i dont have a pic of her sister.. i have pics of my triplets but they were just hrs old so dont think that would work.....wish i did though....she explained her just like what my little one looks like its creepy, cuz when she explained her to me jess my little one was like 3 and her hair was just to shoulder and wasnt as blonde and she said her sister had blue eyes and really long blonde hair just like me mommy but at the time she didnt now she dose freaky huh....she did say the two brothers and one sister had dark hair which my triplets did...kids i think are very sensitive to what we cant see or hear...
