I'm so happy you're doing better.  Toxic Shock Syndrome ain't no joke, as I know you know.  It must be great having the laptop for communication with everyone and I'm sure you're looking forward to coming home.  The PICC at home will be no sweat, although getting a shower can be a royal pain in the ***.  Ask about covers for them that can be bought.  If not, you gotta get someone to saran wrap your arm.  Other than that, it's no sweat at all.

What2donow,
Yes, you are very lucky that you realized that is was more than just the W/D.
It is extremely dangerous and as I said, glad you are recovering. Get well soon.

Thank you for the prayers.I have needed them. They said if I wouldnt have went to the er when I did I would have died. That was scary. My temp was 105.1 when I arrived here last wens. Thay say IF my body is doing ok then I can go home a week from today. When I go home I will still have the PICC line in and I will have a nurse giving me meds at home.

Thanks again for the prayers

Oh honey it's so good to hear from you!! I've been praying for you everyday!!
Don't be sad about taking the meds that you need because you need your body to heal right now. You can deal with the medicine issue when you're feeling better, but for now just take care of yourself.
I hope you're able to get home soon!! Have they told you when that might happen?
