I am Thankful!

Just an update:  Thanksgiving was hard without my Mom around... I miss her so!  But, I have gotten to the point where I now FEEL her PRESENCE... Didn't feel that at first....  I know she had alot of catching up to do with my Dad!  I get these little twinges of my heart now... her.. small... still.... voice... telling me that everything is ok and WILL be ok...It broke my heart when she died... but my heart is finally healing...
For those of you who are suffering thru your addiction.. please hold true to WHO YOU ARE... You are WHO is important... You must carry on!  It will be tough at times but I know you can do it.. because I did!

I want to thank each and everyone of you for being such a great support group....
Love and Hugs to each and everyone of you out there... You are LOVED!

Hey Girl~~   I'm glad you posted!  When I came to MH a year ago,you were the first person to post to me.  I was quite the mess, had never posted anything anywhere, and was scared to death.  Obviously, I'm not scared anymore and still hanging out here trying to pass it on...

I feel for you. Holidays are difficult that first year and, really, for all the years after but we manage somehow and come to a peaceful place...
