OK; Here's another one: there's a duck behind two ducks, a duck in front of two ducks, and a duck between two ducks. How many ducks do have?
what extra dollar? $30.00 given to the manager
minus the five he gives back (three bucks to dudes, one
that helper keeps) = 25.00
where are we getting the $29.00 from?
I am not a math wizard here, so if I look foolish or something, go ahead and laugh away
duck a l'orange for everybody!
5 ducks?
are the ducks like this?..... duck
duck duck duck
duck
lol...
9 ducks........
reality about the room is that each man paid 9.333333333333....LMAO
hey did you copy me confused?? Quit writing at the same time i do!!!!!!
Hey mine showed up first...LOL
Each guy only paid $9.00 for his room, after receiving the refund. 3 rooms at $9.00 each leaves a total of $27.00 paid for rooms. $2.00 of the $5.00 refund is kept by the helper. The $27.00 paid for the rooms, plus the 2 dollars kept by the helper works out to $29.00. Therefore, $1.00 is missing. Where is it?
if they pat 25.00 plus 3 refund that is 28....plus the 2.00 the guy kept is 30!!!!!!!!!
that means the room total was 28then divide by 3 men...........there is my answer
I mean paid not pat....LOL
They didn't pay $25.00. The rooms cost them each $9.00. That's $27.00. Plus $2.00 kept by the helper = $29.00
you said the guy said they were paying 25.00 plus the 3 the room dude gave back is 28
plus 2 from the room dude that he kept is 30........they still paid 9 each but it was 9 and some change....LOL
Just give us the answers!! LMAO
No;
The manager has $25.00 of their money in his till, after the refund.
OK; It's a mathematical anomaly. We know logically what was paid, but it doesn't add up, does it?
As for the ducks, there are 3.
Yes, it does add up...LOL....at least in my f'ed up head cuz the man had 25 in the register, the men are each given 1 dollar that totals 28 and the hotel thief has 2 which makes 30!!
If A=B, you assume that B also =A. That's mathematically correct logic.
But if all ducks(A) = birds, then all birds(B) therefore must = ducks. That's also mathematically correct, but we know it to be false. Brain food.
if they're each returned one dollar, the total expenditure for rooms is $27.00, not $28
but if the room cost 25 and they are each given one dollar it is 28!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LMFAO
the total money is the key here.....30 bucks minus 5 = $25 That's why I didn't even figure the 29.00 made sense.
I have a headache..LMAO....hmmmm..let me think of one..
You do know you are asking addicts to figure this out...Just checking Lmao.
Duck Duck Duck = 3 ducks.
1 2 3
3 is behind 1&2
1 is in front of 2&3 and 2 is between 1&3
They should have gotten $1.6666 back. So the rooms really cost them $8.33333. The Guy pocketed some of their money~ $.67 @. The error is saying that they paid $9 a room. They actually each paid $8.333 for the room and ~$.67 to the guy.
A lesson to anyone who claims math is an absolute language. It has it's nuances and peculiarities.
Just...like...French!
Also, as Judge Judy says...always get a receipt. :)
