Med-Help, although I like the "Online Now" feature.......do we have the option to change it if we are in a crappy mood and don't want anyone to know we are on line? LMAO
i just found out there is a way to turn it off. here you go:
Yes, you can change your privacy settings at anytime and as often as you want. Go to My MedHelp, then click on Settings in the upper right corner. Then click the Privacy link and you'll see a setting for "Sees my online status". By default, this is set to only show your online status to your friends, but you can change it to display to everyone or nobody.

I was thinking the same thing. It's a nice feature but sometimes I only have a minute or two and can't check and reply to every message. I get one guy who mrssages me to death if I don't reply asap. Arrrrr...

hey i just saw the online thing under my name!!! Pretty quick arent i!!!! AND noone would talk to me????? Real nice!!!!!!!! LOL
OK if you go to your profile click on settings.Go to "privacy" you will see your choices .Private, friends and everyone that way you can set it by your mood on any given day .

Yeah I was on here answering a post and all of the sudden the screen said something like Med Help is upgrading will be back online by 4am EST!! It was wierd!!
The thing is I don't understand the true purpose of it if it doesn't have something attached like instant messenging! Otherwise what good does it do me to know if you're online or not? A good example in my case in that I USED to have this site set up to always be logged on but now I will need to remember to log out because otherwise ppl will think I'm on here 24/7!! ROFLAMO!!!!!!!!!!

I went to someone's and it doesn't say "offline" so I am assuming it only says if someone is on line.
