I am in no way saying to change from this site or slow down from using this site as it is a lifesaver for me and I mean that literally. My question is has anyone ever considered going to the yahoo messenger chat rooms and setting up a user room in the user created rooms just for us to chat instantaneously. I would do so, but don't want to step on toes or slow any traffic down here to this site for Medhelp. I have only 100% respect for these folks for starting and maintaining a site with this magnitude of information. The only thing I would change here is I would have joined much sooner... pm me if you have any suggestions or replys to this post in the event it is moved from here. Mike

either that or just find a room were we all can go to under yahoo chat there are alot of rooms that are not used very much so that or start a chain pm to get everyones yahoo id or AIM MSN id so that everyone can add each other. there is a way to start a free web page and atach a chat room on to it. so everyone can go to it and login Maybe Medhelp can do this if there is enough people wanting it

I've done this with Pira and Java. However, Java seems to be a pain to get working.

I do see it if u want let me know where you all go or we need to set up a time to meet there. I use mgh2467 for yahoo if you have the yahoo pager and yahoo has chatrooms called friends of bill for aa and na chat. It is the category of health and wellness.

Well, my kids use a site called ****.com....They access AIM, and any other IM a/c's they have there without having to download all that software.  You each have a "room" that you can invite others into, as well as there being other rooms.  The only other option I can guess would be IMing on whatever service, or finding a chat room devoted to this subject, or just a general site on MSN or some other service.  I just put some IM thingys on my computer and it has made chatting with folks so much easier, and you can see it has not deterred me from coming here.

Yeah I went and the user created rooms are not available. If you guys have any better idead im me and lets see if we can set up an instant chat room somewhere for all of to go to isee how that would work out. this is still good

I think there are people who do this now.....I'm all for it and don't think it'd take a thing away from here.  People are always gonna check here for stuff going on and to post.

I love instant chats.  I am computer illiterate and wouldn't know where to go or how to set it up.
