i think we need to do a new recipes thread again! Who wants to share? Im doing tons of canning and freezing...pickles, corn on the cob, creamed corn etc  

speaking of which i need to get back to my beets im cooking right now but I hope some of you want to share recipes. I have a lot of good "end of summer" type things you can do with all the veggies and stuff

sorry I'm with the girls here...I tried canning when I was younger and it is not for me!!!! no joke way to much work when I can walk in the store and buy a can of whatever for under a $1.00 but I like the girls ideas...microwave and call outs...that's for me...but hubby isn't here for dinner and most of the time he has frozen pizza for lunch...ever heard of a piazza? it cooks pizza on the counter? love it...hubby can cook his own.. I do nothing... gotta love that...

Why do you put yourself through such hard work. LOL  Pick up the phone like I do. Isn't America great !  They will bring dinner right to your front door. Gotta love it.

Trouble,
I've never canned a thing in my life. Wouldn't have a clue what to do.  I guess because I've never been able to grow anything. Everything dies but the weeds. I have the healthiest weeds in town.

ok already...i'll post my famous recipe again.

open the freezer
take out the box
cut slit to vent
toss into the microwave
careful when removing (ouch...stem burns)
sit back and enjoy :)
