Rip Off Day, Haha

This is gonna be a really dumb post, but I want to vent. I sent flowers to someone in the U.S. I had picked out this bouquet and it was 3 red roses, 3 pink roses, with tulips and carnations mixed with baby's breath, it looked so nice and was $75 plus exchange and stuff, lol. Anyway she called me and said she loved the flowers and I asked how they looked and she sent me a picture. I could not believe it, it consisted of no roses and no carnations, all tulips, lmao. She did not care at all, but me I did and called the florist and said that this was not even close to what i had ordered and he hung up, haha. Since i ordered them with a credit card and it goes through perrin's first, they guarentee that although it won't always be identical, but close, this was so far off. Anyway, ended up cancelling the order on the card and getting it through another shop on tuesday. This owner tried to rip off some guy sending flowers in to the U.S and he got burned cause that bouquet of tulips he made is now FREE and she will be getting that other bouquet now also, haha. Stupid story i know, but i can't believe how rude he was and thought he could just get away with this. I know it's not that big of a deal, but I am sure this happens a lot. Anyways, there are much better holidays then Vanentines anyway. I have had 3 breakups in previous years on that day, not kidding. Ok I am done babbling.

I too am glad you stood your ground. I sent funeral flowers once and the same thing! Now I pick out a local florist in that persons community and order from them. Good for you!

I, for one, am glad that you didnt just blow this off - but pursued it properly.
