I am going to an appointment to get put on Suboxone to treat my withdrawls from taking oxys. I have never done this before. They say the visit is $80 and then you get a prescriptions to buy at the pharmacy and then I see the doctor every 2 weeks. How much are these prescriptions?

not sure in your area but around here the meds run about 189-300 depending on dosaging, I think you can buy them online cheaper though good luck

Hi i was wandering sence i dont have insurance will the DR. help me by prescribing me the saboxin pills...I can pay cash...does anyone know..The nearest Dr to me is 100miles so I kinda wana know some info on what to do...Do I just give him a call and tell him my situation and ask for a APPT. plzz some one help me my drug use is outa hand and braking me every paycheck....Im hoping this pill will help me...

I have been on the sub 2  months,  I have insurance and I pay $54.00 for 45 8mg pills. without the insurance they would have cost me $283.49

I am planning to use Suboxone for as long as I need it mainly for the withdrawls to go away and to get away from the oxys I'm on.
I do feel lucky to have found a doc that charges this I hope not to find any extra fees when I get to see him on Sat. but I did ask and ask what the total doc cost for this treatment was and he told me everything. SO cheap
And yes I have researched this med (sub) and I feel its right for me.

You are quite fortunate to find a doctor for $80.00. That's a good price.

I used Rite Aid and my pills were $6 a piece.

Congratulations on getting off the pain meds. Are you doing a short term detox with Sub, or a long term? Hopefully, you have researched the drug itself as well as the program.
