After much thought today, I have finally decided that I am going to see a sub doc.  I have called and left a message to make an appointment.  I figured I might as well post this so I can give you guys updates - just in case anyone wants to try it too.  I know that I can no longer do this on my own and if I do not have to feel the brunt of the w/d's more power to me right?  So that is my plan.  I will let you guys know how it goes tomorrow.  Hopefully I can get in tomorrow!

Well it means that they are sliding people in under the guideline if she pays cash that doesn't sound like he is obeying the guideline... Not all Doc especially Sub docs are out there to help people there are ALOT out there just to make money.. I was just looking out for people.. so they don't get hooked up with shady docs..

The 100 patient limit is a federal guideline.. It has nothing to do with insurance or money. It was originally a 30 persone limit.. So if a doc is telling you to pay cash that is shady.. tztlady..

I planned out my quit so I made my appt 2 weeks ahead of time.. sorry I couldn't be more help R2R

I need someone to talk to bad......this is my 2nd day of hydro withdrawl and while i am not doing as bad as i thought i would, i have still had a tuff day.  Anyone willing to talk to me???  Please?
I am doing it cold turkey.....my only option really.

OMG--you read my mind today..i am doing the same..I can't handle this feeling..Plus i feel like i am getting strep throat..It hurts so much when i swallow..I actually feel like the flu and not just telling people i have the flu..
i just cannot be a mom like this..My kids start school tommorrow..Hubby at work..Sorry if i let anyone down..I had 2 left and took one half about an hour ago..and will take one more half before bed..and right now is exactly 25 hours so i know it is going to get worst, and there is no way i can function..
Then they probably will tell me they can't take me for a month,omg then what???
STEPH---how long did it take you to get an appointment??

I was told that too, about the 100 patients.  But I was told that thats only for insurance patients and if a person pays out of pocket a dr. may still take them.   The dr. I will go to if I go that route will take me if I pay and not use my insurance because they already have their 100 insurance patients.

Also, like Mar said, when you talk to them, ask if there is any other dr. nearby who offers sub.
