What is this?

I have a pill that is suppose to be percocet but i looked it up on WEBMD and these numbers were not listed.  then I looked under Oxycotin and it wasn't on there either but the numbers were more closely matched to oxy.
The numbers are 54  543  the pill is round and white.

Thanks to anyone that can help me with this.

Yes, BP means blood pressure. I've never take suboxone, but many on here have with good results. I also take BP meds, hctz and enalipril. The doc said there was no problem with me personally taking it. I kept a close eye on my BP, taking it frequently after I took the clonidine to make sure I didn't drop it too much. I also skipped a dose or cut one in half if I felt the least bit dizzy. I'm not sure exactly HOW it works, but by lowering your BP it reduces many of the WD symptoms. It reduced or totally eliminated the sweats, chills, aches, and the nervousness. The only drawback was that it made me tired (but I had no energy and felt tired anyway). My personal dosage was1 .1mg tablet 2 times a day and 2 .1mg tablets at night. Remember to consult with your doc if you get a script for this..

Oxy was my drug of choice, either through Percocets or Oxycontin. I went off the percs 3 weeks ago today, and off ultram 3 weeks on Monday. I didn't taper because I knew it wouldn't work for me. I popped them like tic-tacs when I had them. There are a few things that can make things go easier. Ask your doc to prescribe clonidine, it's a BP medicine that helps with the withdrawals. Also, search for the Thomas Recipe, it has specific advice on how to go cold turkey. Also, if all else fails, you may want to try Suboxone therapy for a couple of weeks (not good to go longer than that). Google it and read up on it. It's helped many people on here. Good luck!!

Hey....i was gone for awhile.

I take up to 10 or 11 hydrocodones a day...the stronger ones.  forget what they are now, but they are the stronger ones.  Anyway, I am trying to cut down.
a couple nurses said to do like 8 one day, then 7 one day, blah blah blah until i get to 4 a day, then do the 4 a day for a couple weeks and then quit.
However......when i try to do 4 a day i nearly go out of my mind.  And....this isn't the best time to be trying to quit anyway as i have family coming next week from out of state.  Guess i will try to quit after they are gone.  I did get to like day 6 or 7 once last year and felt great the last day, then went and got more like an idiot.  I hate this.

What is your drug of choice?  How are you doing?  I will pray for you if you will pray for me.  I think Prayer is the biggest key to whipping this.  But..we have to act...prayer alone won't work.  We have to participate, i understand that.

Thanks for helping me.  These things my husband gave, i just took one of them after i read about them.  That's because i only have 2 hydro's left until MONDAY.

Same active drugs as percocet. A 5 mg oxy product is supposed to be stronger than a 5 mg hydro product. The tabs you have are scored, and and would be good to cut in half and use for a taper. How much hydro are you taking daily? How are you trying to taper?

Thanks so much!  Do you know if it is something more heavy duty than hydrocodone?  That is what i am trying to taper down from and get off of, but someone gave these pills to my husband and he gave them to me telling me they were percocets but someone told him a lie.  Just wondered how potent these things are......My husband doesn't do drugs but i am heavily addicted to the hydrocodones as i mentioned.

I guess i can look this up now on my own since you gave me the info.....Thanks again for answer ing me sooooo quickly.
