What a nightmare it's been. Thanks for your input. I truly believe it's the withdrawals. I've just had another loose bowel movement and have since the first day without the meds. Suffering a month with a urninary tract infection and then withdrawing has been a complete wake up call for me. I can't believe it either.
I have been on them for a couple of years. It took a long time to convince the docs to take my pain seriously. Even then I was not prescribed relief until after shoulder replacement. Then a knee replacement. I'm 56 so, a bit young for them to take the pain seriously I guess. But to go through this because of faulty testing is just so wrong. I honestly think they couldn't warn me of withdrawals because after all..then they would have to admit I was in fact taking the meds. I've never had any addiction issues, in fact do not enjoy taking so many meds. My husband pushes me to take them. He's always saying take your meds! Because I'll walk around in pain and try to accomplish something with my day. Thanks for reassuring me. I think it's withdrawal symptoms too but, just wasn't sure if I should head back to doctor. Will just hang in there until this too passes I suppose. I've had my eyes opened by this and can't thank you enough for the helpful feedback.
yes i would say your body just needs to build it back up again. Some people get taken out of WD immediately as soon as they get their drugs again, but others it takes awhile. I know that sometimes when i relapsed, it took several doses before i felt "right" again too. How many years were you on them again, i forget. I saw your post on the pain management forum (Im a member of both communities. Im a chronic pain sufferer but got addicted to my meds and cant take them anymore because I cant control my intake). I still cant believe the horrifiic inaccuracies of urine tests and how most doctors act like they could never be wrong under any circumstances. Many lives have been greatly impacted by bad tests or lab mix ups. Hope you feel better soon
No addiction issues, in fact try not to take if possible and put it off as long as possible most days. Still feeling quezy and lightheaded. Low temperature...so crappy....must be addicted but need the meds. Feel like a whiner.
Have you had addiction issues before? Why the test?
No. I was hoping I could find out if I'm still in withdrawal. Do pain meds need to rebuild (?) to a level in your system so that these symptoms will go away? The worst is I keep having bowel movements after I eat. Though it's better than the constipation I'm used to having from the meds.
NO clue ...... Are you trying to get off drugs
