I do not go out shopping the day after Thanskgiving...I made the mistake ONCE, just to see if I had it all wrong in my head on what the day is really like...Turned out I had been right all along.....HUGE lines, NO stock, NO big deals....Prices are WAY down in the up-coming weeks..Now is not the time to go to save big, go only if you WANT to go. Only a few items are on any decent sale right now, and way more will be later, and overall you'll make out much better then.....and to hear about this trampled worker..see, I can't stand it, something bad seems to happen every year...fights, whatever..and now a death? ...and why the stores need to do this at 5 a.m. I have no idea...It's all marketing and gimick...and I feel worst of all for the poor workers they make go in...I'm sure they're havin' such a blast dealing with the pissy customers....no thanks man...I'll go out way later than today and I'll do some shopping on-line....
WoW, that is incredible. When I was younger, I did the whole Black Friday thing, but I don't have the patience for it anymore. Me and the daughter are baking cookies and candy today.
i just wrote a separate post similar to my experience.....but did you hear on the news that a Walmart worker got trampled to death in NY this morning ?? unreal!!!!
i was in town at 4 this mornin with jen....we had a blast.
No way do i go out on Black Friday. I do most of my shopping at night.
I can't stand the crowds. I would rather wait also. I do most of my shopping on weeknights when the malls aren't so busy.
I never go out on black friday. Wait a week and you will get even better deals.
