i ahve to say i am havign all the symtoms but not nearly like before the only difference is clonodine, and chanti for smoking which they say works on the same receptors in the brain for other addictions..Now tonight will probably bite me in the butt...I have sneezing, runny nose, aches , runs, ..oh an d taking lots of immodium..
God i pray this continues.

Good Morning!

I see you are hanging in there. Good for you. I just now took my last dose of Suboxone. Whew! Kinda scary but I am thankful this is almost over.

Chantix, by the way, DOES work with the receptors. They just completed a new study which determined that it is also useful for addiction w/d's and they will soon be prescribing it as a med to help alcoholics cut down and ultimately quit. I took it some 9 months ago and, at the time, it knocked me silly. All I did was sleep. But, I was eating handfuls of pain meds at the time so that definately had something to do with it. Which also confirms what I just said.

Keep up the good work with the chantix, and hang in there with the w/d's, it won't be much longer.

Update--Okay last night was definetly not a peice of cake..But i did get a few hours in..The rest was in tub..Still not terrible..Chantix is working good...i still am smoking but about 1/4 of what i was..i think that is helping this opiate w/d too..i know sounds crazy but my pharmacist told me it helps with more addictions then nicotine..So far this is better then any time ..
Still not even closey there i know, but trying..
