Hey guys how ya all doing. Real good i hope ? Im 5 1/2 months clean and was so happy. But tonight my daughter Caroline was rushed to hospital,with severe headaches that was9 1/2 hours ago. Im so worried it was then i thought of drugs. But im stronger now and have more tools. Im happy it was only a thought.Just thought i would let you all know how i was doing. I still crave but not too often thank god. So how are all my friends doing let me know ill be on for awhile as cant sleep too worried about my daughter. Kim is doing real good she,s always been the strong type Take good care guys and im going to start getting on more often ,,,,,,James

Hey guys & gals me & Kim are on holiday & having a ball LOL. I would  like to tell you ppl  just starting on your journey to beat your habit what ever that drug might be. Mine & Kim was HEROIN 13 yrs of living hell ,My wifeis over 1 year clean I am over 5 1/2 months clean,Yes i relapsed a few times, Kim did not. Well i would like to tell you guys i never thought it possible to stop taking HEROIN but we did,COLD TURKEY was not easy or a nice experance but very very doable.So if we can do it you all can do it. You just got to want it bad enough & we wanted it bad.Now we have never been so happy life clean is AWESOME or there was another for me option a coffin coz thats were i was headed. The ppl who really do know me here will tell you how i struggled with my addiction. Now ifeel better im happy my sex life well LOL ask Kim about that.Im happy to say im now a better man for being clean I know i will always bean addict but all i need to do is keep my guard up & look to god when times get tough.Anyway i would like to thank everyone ofyou guys who supported us through those long nights & days you know who im talking about. Your kindness & spport was AWESOME special thank you to my sister i could not have done it without you & abig big thank you to MH a very very special site all and every one of you guys ROCK. Thank you all sooooooo much ,,,,,,,James
P S If we can do it you all can do it never ever give up on yourselfes you are worth much much more. And our familys paid for this holiday and my wife Kim who has a terminal illness has slept every night now that,s something. Her breathing is a lot lot better & she   has never coughed once so things are looking real good & iv got some beautiful pics to show you of the Islands I E Seals, Killer whales and beautiful land scapes. Thanks for making us so so happy we wish wecould stay longer but still have a few days Kim will be on later as guess what she is sleeping again LOL !!!!!!!!!

I had sent a prayer up right before sleep and upon waking.. like you said she is much like her beautiful mom kim so she is a fighter.. mt fondest desire is that she is home right now and that the test came back with something obvious and fixable.. I will be checking often.

life on active addiction is indeed an utter h ell, i could not have faced what is going on with my life for the last months being on this h ell .... life is not easy as we all already know by lenght but it is life :)

I'm very glad the Dr.'s are being vigilant and wanting to find what is going on.. it sounds scarey james but we have to keep positive thoughts ok. gary sends his sends his best and hopes that it is something simple.. I will be here for you anytime james.. I will also look forward to Caroline coming home.. Life is good clean isn't it. I once thought I could never face life clean, now I could not imagine being back in the nightmare of my active addiction.. things going on around us would have made it worse but somehow even the darkest day clean is better then any day in active addiction.. Yep my bed time amd your day is just starting.. hopefully she will be doing the test very soon as they read then right away and you wilL know more.. Yep it is my bed time.. about the breaks, i also needed a break after my six months mark and when anxiety was too much to handle for me.... i needed to handle my life and its problems, coming here was not helping because my state of mind was not the right one.

Caroline is getting more tests to find out why she was complaining of sore heads then collapsing she is waiting on a cat scan. But i spoke to her on the phone and she says she feels ok. But the doctors want to get to the bottom of this as its the second time this month. She also had some bleeding from the ears. But im more than a little worried nowyou my sister are a wonderful person you are always there when i need someone to talk too. just like when i came here asking for help with my heroin addiction. its been nice talking with you again It must be getting near your bed time hugs.,,,,,James x,,,,

i agree we do have to take time away from mh as it can be a bit hard reading of addictions all the time but i loved trying to help others well this puts a smile on my face its 8 30 am im going to go to my moms phone the hospital if your still on in an hour ill come back and let you know in more detail.As Kim cant phone me my mobile has ran out of battery and cant find my charger. if you go to bed ill talk to you real soon hugs your bro james x ps ill wait for a reply sis

Thank you James.. it will be ok.. her faith is strong and this brings her much comfort.. I have also taken a couple of breaks from mh in the 2 1/2 years I have been here it is necessary sometimes.. I bet you look wonderful !!! I'm so grateful you are clean and feeling stronger. I also feel strong :)

so sorry to hear of your sister that must be very hard for you to cope with is o home soon. hows he enjoying his new house ? and i look forward to seeing the pics. i keep myself real busy i had to take a bit of time away from mh. As i know its about addiction the forum but felt i needed a break and i feel so much stronger now. put on a lot of weight had to buy new clothes but things are going great for me the first time iv coped with what addiction can through at us again in so sorry to hear the news of your sister
