music suggestions???

i know there have been a lot of posts on music, but u can never have too many good songs. i find some songs help through cravings and stress etc. music has helped with this addiction for sure. if you guys have any good songs, especially those u can relate to using or songs that have helped you i would love a list, im gonna make a cd  this weekend. one of the songs i have listened to a lot lately is "it's not my time" by three doors down, i love the lyrics

"It's not my time" by three doors down

Looking back at the beginning of this
And how life was
Just you and me and love and all of our friends
Living life like an ocean
Now the currents slowly pulling me down
It's getting harder to breath
It won't be too long and I'll be going under
Can you save me from this

('Cause) It's not my time,
I'm not going
There's a fear in me
It's not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
Oh, I won't go

I look ahead to all the plans that we made
And the dreams that we had
I'm in a world that tries to take them away
Oh, but I'm taking them back
All this time I've just been to blind to understand
What should matter to me
My friend, this life we live
Is not what we have, it's what we believe

There might be more than you believe
(There might be more than you believe)
There might be more than you can see
But, It's not my time
I'm not going
There's a fear in me
It's not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
But, It's not my time
I'm not going
There's a will in me
Now it's gonna show
This could be the end of me
And everything I know, oh
There might be more than you believe
(There might be more than you believe)
There might be more than you can see
And I won't go
No I won't go down (yeahh

I've been singing it's not my time for weeks now... can't get it out of my head!  Not to bring up anything depressing, but have you ever heard of Stabbing Westward?  One of their albums sums up my life as a teenager and life using more or less.

Gizzy,
Check out.
Hey you by the Exies

Glosoli by Sigur Ros

The Sigur Ros song should bring you to tears if you are in the right mind set when you listen to it.....It is in Icelandic but again in the right mind set you will not notice.

Youre not alone by Saosin......This one is personal fav......

I would really like to know what you think of these songs....I am a musician and i think these songs can help alot...

I have a song called H-JAM that i recorded when i was 15 years old....you can tell by the name what was involved with this song. Although the recording has not held up so good (analog) it still tends to move me....

Hey buddy....I listen to music all day, everyday, so I MAY be your man here....I have listed a ton of songs pretty recently on this side, but if you don't find anything on that post, I could list more.  I'm wondering whether or not you'd even like the stuff I listen to, you bein' a youngin and all, lol......what kinds of groups or solo artists do you like?  I could probably tell that way.  I find new music, or rediscover older music, literally everyday, so I've got quite the collection and I'm making CD's all the time,
