now Im sick as a dog & the weather is insane

i sure jinxed myself yesterday! I said I only had a tiny cold that i caught from my 3 yr old and i had no complaints about it. Hahahahah.  OMG i woke about 2 a.m. hacking my head off, sore and super scratchy throat, runny/plugged nose and aching all over!! UGHHH we are supposed to have relatives from out of town dropping by late this morning too. I dont feel like having visitors lol.  btw our weather is INSANE. Just a few mornings ago it was -3 with windchills near -25 below zero. Today we are to hit 65, have thunderstorms, then a high wind warning thru tomorrow, going back to the 30's. Its sooo sloppy outside- all the snow pack we had is a skating rink with fllooded puddles on top of it now too as if it werent slick enough to walk on. Anyone else having crazy weather??

I feel your pain, hun.......I am sicker than a dog today. Still waiting for some family come by for Christmas today. Was feeling a little sick coming back from Vegas.....Now UGH !!  Same thing....sore throat, chills, the whole enchilada .......its a freezing 57 degrees ...thats freezing for Us cali peeps.

no wonder you are sick, as I assume many more with be with the crazy weather. I was in Indiana last week and it was freezing cold and freezing rain, they had to shut down several interstates. The day we come back to Tn, we could watch the temp. raising. We got home at 2am and it was 68. We havent feel below 60 since then. I don't know how you stand the weather in Ohio, much like Indiana. I guess the saying is true, if you don't like the weather stick around an hour and it will change. Take care, hope you feel better soon.

Is there anyway you can just bug-out and stay in bed. Sometimes we just need to take care of ourselves and say the heck with it all.  I know that's easy for someone that doesn't have kids to say.     There's nothing like spending a day in your Jammie's and fuzzy slippers. lol
