i am a going to be a pharmacist and yes propoxyphene is the generic for Darvocet N100. I believe is a schedule 4 narcotic (with schedule 2 like percocet, cocaine, and morphine being schedule II's being the strongest, then the "hydrocodones"-Lortab, Norco, and Vicodin being the next in line, then darvocet along with cough medicines like tussionex that contains hydrocodone.) and yes IT is very addicting if not used properly.

Just a side note to you. Your searching for that special feeling from pills that you think will be the just the thing to make you feel wonderful and be just the ticket to put you in the groove once you find it. Right? Well there isn't such a thing. All it will do is start you on a life long journey into agony and pain and hard times ot your eventual pitiful death and the hurt and pain and alienation of all those worthwhile around you. This is the truth. It is the way the chemical process of the brain reacts when introduced to addictive substances. You will tell yourself you can handle anything and like magic you will be buried in it's grasp. That is just the way it is and will allways be. Find a realistic way to find happiness and peace within your self. A drug is the highway to hell and misery. Just heed this and accept it as truth and don't look back.

Well years ago me and my freinds obtained it easily and used to remove the pellet of pure propoxyphene from the inside of the capsules and down about 6 of them with beer and whatever alchohol for a buzz. It never got me addicted but  I can see how it would for some people. I suggest now that now that I am older and a bit wiser to just stay away from this **** because once you get hooked it is a long hard weary trail back if you ever get back. Just forget dope period and you will be better off and be happier in the long run. Nothing really is better than being strait and clean and clear headed. Take it from experience. And the best of luck.

I think that is Darvocet too...I used to take them, but never did anything for me. Although, my body is used to the more powerful pills, thats prob. why!

Yes though, to answer your question they are a narcotic and addictive. So if i were you i would just stop before you become totally addicted. It sucks when that happens, Trust me!

Hope
