Homicide in my town

Back in Oct. a 39 yr old man was found dead in his apartment.  Today a 33 yr old woman was charged with 3rd degree murder.  She had been supplying this man with her fentanyl patches.  He had been smoking it.  The coroner said this was the cause of death as he had respiratory depression.  The article also said that overdose with this drug is common as it is so potent.  

I know the woman who was charged.  I have waited on her many times along with her teenage daughters.  We all think none of this can happen to us.....but it does.            sara

I'm sorry to hear that... I had a friend who was prescribed fent he obviously had serious medical problems and I would drive him to his appointments and I basically got a crash course on how to administer a shot of adrenaline.  People get a tolerance and they think they are invincible

My aunt was dying with liver cancer an the whole time her daughter was selling her drugs.  I reported this to my aunts doctor who prescribed the drugs an they done nothing.  My son just died from a fentanyl overdose he got from my cousin.  Can she be charged with homicide?  How am I going to continue to live around her??

Addiction is alive and well in so many of us...........addiction seeks to steal-kill-and destroy. I;m sorry you have had this experience. How old was the daughter, do you know? See one more life destroyed by drugs............the daughter may become motherless................by no fault of her own. Trama for the child ....sets them up for a place to escape the pain and guess what comes next ? Drugs............So the cycle continues. Sad.

I got chills reading the article. Fentanyl is deadly and when people start sucking it and shooting it and smoking it they are playing Russian Roulette. It was sad to read about him and know that there was help for him if only he would have reached out....

Just awful...Fentanyl is bad sh!t in any form!  I hate the stuff, even in a controlled environment!   I'll bet she'll plead to a lesser charge though...
