10 days clean from oxycontin!!!!

Woooohooo. Just a week ago the thought of making it a whole 10 days clean was absurd -- it seemed so far in the distance. I made it! It feels like a big deal because I know I won't be going back to opiates ever again.

This is, without a doubt, my best day in recovery so far. Exercise and proper diet has helped so much; I hurt my back a few days ago and couldn't exercise for two days straight. Unsurprisingly, those were the worst days of my post acute withdrawals. Without exercise, I felt like I was completely lost and hopeless.

You can do it everyone! I joined here on day one of my withdrawals and it seemed so daunting. I'm glad the day will come that I will feel normal again. Even now, there's no more head burning which lingered for so long.

Yes!! Good luck everyone

THANK YOU for your help and support!

I'm glad you are feeling better, and are having a good day! But be aware that there are going to be some "not so good" days ahead as well. Your neurotransmitters levels are still all funky, and will take a long time to rebuild, repopulate, and return to their normal levels and functions.
This is why "aftercare" is important, you need to find the ways to cope with these setbacks, and the urge to solve them with a pill, which is what your mind will  try trick you into doing.

Enjoy the good days as they come, but be ready to have to focus on the positives when you hit a bad one.
