14 Days since I finished my Suboxone taper

I went to bed about 12:30am and set the alarm for 6:30am so I could go do laundry before everybody started piling in. I woke up early at 6 from a dream where I was laying in bed surrounded up to my body and cushioned by a swarm of contented honeybees. (?) I slept good anyway.

I have been feeling good, with no withdrawal symptoms or PAWS, but felt even better today. I drank half a pot of coffee and hit the laundromat at 7:30am, did 5 loads of laundry, stopped to get a steak and cheese biscuit on the way home, have already put everything away, and am finishing my pot of coffee now. Now I plan to play video games all day and relax.

I don't really believe in them either, I just thought I'd look it up and see if I could find any meaning in it.

For the past several months I've been having dreams about the people I know who have died. They're not nightmares, and they never speak to me in them, they're just present in some role.

When I got to the point on my taper where I was barely doing any Suboxone at all dreams of getting high came back too, something I don't remember happening at higher doses, but I had dreams about doing Cocaine for over 10 years after I stopped using it.

I think it's just my wetware taking a little vacation when I shut down and don't take it too seriously when I'm awake.

Aw, so sorry about your friend.  How sad.  :0(  Too much of that going on in our world.

As for the dream interpretation, I've never been a believer that our dreams mean anymore than just the things our brains are occupied with, sometimes they just present themselves in odd ways.  However, that being said, I liked your interpretation!!!  Very cool.

I went out today to pay my respects to my best friend who died from a combination of Methadone and Xanax when he just stopped breathing. It was kind of depressing, but I went anyway.

I had been thinking it was the 5th anniversary of his death but his headstone made it out to be 4 years today. It looked untouched, without a flower anywhere to be seen, and I burned a stick of incense and stuck it in the ground for him.

It's what led me to make the decision to go on Suboxone and I did so 5 months after his death. I thought I was probably next in line to die if I didn't. Another friend of mine had died just months before from the same thing, and I had kept doing Methadone and Xanax together even after their deaths, so I was probably right.

I looked up the meaning of my dream on the net:

"If you are waking up in a different and/or unknown bed, then it represents the consequences of the decisions you have made.

To see bees in your dream symbolize wealth, good luck, harmony, creativity and bliss. Bees are also symbolic of hard work and industry as represented by the common phrase "busy as a bee." Your hard work will pay off in the end with sweet results."

Sounds good to me. :)
