I can tell you all about my methadone experience. it was developed by nazi scientist as cheap analgesic, for war time use(pain killer) its extremely addictive and is a STRONGER narcotic replacement opioid that should be avoided, unless  you are a  LONG TERM heroin addict or IV addict.

and actually I did get high off  methadone, sure made me feel great !!


If you think regular narcotics and oxies have bad wd's. wait till your body gets use to the 'done, then try and get off it.............it will be much worse. take it from a guy whom just went through methadone wd's!!!

oxy has a loooong after life so it could take a day or maybe two for the w/d to start...be prepared!!!

Hi i'v been a herion user 4 almost 16 years now, I have a vallium addiction & alsom on 100ml of methadone a day.
I guess if i had used the methadone as it was ment to be use 7 years aog whn i was first put on it the i would be clean now, But as it is i'm on my second day without  just herion. I have wasted most ov my life battelin this **** that has took over my life. 
I have been on my second day soooo many times it's to many to count,
Methadone is good for a fast reducion, as you can still work & it doe's make you feel normal, Wel not sick ya no what i mean.
Also i @ the time didn't think i was strong enough to just do it cold turcky. Not till i came across this sight & herd of the thomas recipe. 
I didn't no enything about all the suplements you can use lyk vitamins ect.
Allternative therapy is fab, I use accupuntor ( soz for spellin lol ). I don't no if you can get that treatment for free, ?? as i live in the u.k. I hope this helps abit

It really depends on the person. methadone helps with withdrawal, cravings, and helps you lead a normal life if you take it the way you are suppose to. Some people abuse methadone but if you go on the methadone treatment thinking this will get me high too then it's not going to work. If you take the methadone, go to treatment, meetings, group therapy, seeing a therapist then it will work for you. i'm on suboxone  it's like methadone, and doing everything i just mentioned and so far it's working. I still get cravings, like today but it's no where near where i was 2 weeks ago. Stay strong, research your options.

I'v been taking pills for about 3 years now on and off. i started out taking tab 10s and eventuly got up to oxycodone and cotin. At most i'v done 80mg in one day i stoped taking them 2 days ago and so far nothing? i was wondering if any body knows when withdraws start and for how long they last?

NO detox at home following the thomas recipe  have a support i shall be if u choose but it would help for someone to be there with you my GF is a dr my first day i spent hurting crying and begging her to let me ween DONT DO THAT EITHER so from theese posts i have been reading from day 1 has helped alot dayy one is hell but get started on the T recipe fast here is what she has given me
saturday july 11   1st full daay no vic (i was taking 15 vic 10s a day snorting half)
830am 1  vitamin (veg life spectro veg high energy), tylenol 500mg (whats in the vics) and from GNC get AMP amplified wheybolic extreme 60 its a powder mix with water mix  with water its not bad quite tasty (thinkin bout wantin to freeze and slushie next one) after that i took a real hot bath for my leg achs and prayed and cried i was so weak it hurt so bad to walk upstairs to go to BR which u will do alot of thomas suggest imodium but i chose to let the craps come out poison unless like in a few hrs i have to go to pain clinic for my back injection and explain my situation still crying (i am on prozac) i may suggest some st johns wart for that  so 
1145am another tylenol, vitamin,and a detox pill called detox blend sp25 and fish oil also at gnc they have the kind that dont leave FB (fish burps) 
so take the tylenol as needed or every 4 hrs now for bed i was lucky i had valuime i took 15mg and 1 melatonin 5mg also valeriam root 450 mg it has a calming blend 
i will say my last pill was 1pm fri and the first day i wanted so bad but today i never want to go back oh i am still hurtin and crying my back is sore i am worried bout the shot in it today but to ease you please pray i will for you and lots of hot baths believe in yourself  and HAVE FAITH u will get through it i still get the chills but those nerve endings are comming alive looking foreward when i can be up to being intament again LOL  anyway that is how i am getting through my GF is wonderful and so supportive i want to mention her before i say god bless to everyone and you can do it DONT GIVE IN AND DONT GO THE METH ROUTE W/D FROM THAT IS BAD   please dont just go with my way read others stories and how they did it and choose the best way for you  may god wrap his loving arms around you and carry you  through
