1st day of only 2 pills a day

I'm sooo nervouse today is my first day of just a half a pill each each dose I've been doing 3/4 of one for the last week so I shouldn't be worried its not that big of a differnce I'm sure its all in my head. So 2 hydros a day is only 10mg a day! So its exciting too since next week I'll be down to one pill for a week and thanksgiving done! That will be something to be thankful for and my merry xmas. I'm just nervouse. My boyfriend is gone hunting today for a few more hrs so I can't rant about it to him. He's trying to be very understanding about what I'm doing which is better then most significant others I'm sure. He never says a negative word or tells me I need to quit he keeps saying he knew I would do it on my own (now if he'd quit riddin me about cigerettes) :) I just felt like sharing my nervouseness I'm sure I'm not the only one to be nervouse over a taper

Not really just me and my bf. They are @ daycare and school while we are at work and if he has something he has to go do then me n the girls are home alone. Thank you I was starting to feel like I was talking to myself after 3 posts from just me.

Today is not as bad as yesterday thank god. Ate a ton of sushi last night n slept really well.

Thank u made it to 430 n drank a slim fast with it cuz that seems 2 help the tummy sometimes. Will tomorrow b better? My bf wantas 2 go hunt in the am but I don't wanna b alone w/ 1yr old n 6yr old alone like this tomorrow?

The longer you hold out the easier it will be! STAY STRONG and stick to your schedule my friend!!!

Watch some TV or post here for 20 short minutes!! You can do it! Maybe 20 minutes will turn into an HOUR!!!

Thanks for the encouragement. This ***** I'm crabby n sweatty n sneezing on occation n my tummy is a lil upset. Better then ct I'm sure. I never want 2 go threw this again I feel depressed I can't even muster up to straighten my hair so I feel really ugg. I hope next taper isn't so crappy. I really hope tomorrow will be better too.

I tapered and it was not that bad. My first day with nothing sucked. Second day sucked. 3,4,5,6 was better. Then I scewed up and used again. Now Im starting over. I'm on day three and it ***** starting over.

A taper is always going to be more manageable than cold turkey.  But I did NOT have the fortitude to taper and many addictive personalities do not.  That is NOT a criticism it is reality.  So if you can stick to tapering on a SCHEDULE you will be thakful for it.  There is NO such thing as TOO FAST as you want that poison out of you as soon as possible.

I went cold turkey 5 days ago and it was rough but manageable if you stay positive and KNOW IT WILL PASS!!!! Just KEEP POSTING ON HERE!  Post your journey! It is REMARKABLE how strong you will be with the support here. I promise you! I speak from experience!

Stay in touch! Good luck with the taper and try and STAY STRONG! Dont be NERVOUS, that will make it WORSE.  Stay positive and look forward to being CLEAN!  Its great on the other side of the tunnel!
