5-1/2 Months from the old 18-20 Hydro's, and thought I would make my first 2009 drop by (-:

Well I see alot of new members in here...thats good. (just that many more to add to my list)

Will, I feel like a human bieng now, never crave the hydro's anymore. The idea of how many hydros I was taking, just to get out of bed, to even fuction,... crosses my mind, and makes me sick. I think about what I used to feel like, and with all my heart...I do not miss the hydro buzz at all...and never want to again.

I was looking at Day3, Day4 in the first week from hell, with the hydro cold turkey withdrawls, and kept telling everyone (and myself) "I dont care no matter what comes my way, I am not going to take another hydro ever again" and on Day 4 I wrote "This is battle was over before it began" ...which came to be true...

Anyway, yes I am living proof that you can cold turkey 18-20 hydro's a day, and start to feel better and better by each and every day. Then you get to the point where you have to look at the calander to see how long it's been because you'll stop counting day by day sufferings....Trust me. the temporary sufferings (from hell) that DO go away.....are soooo worth going thru, and anyone going thru them right now, your first week, or two....just grab the Hand of God and keep going with all your heart and strength. You will look back and be soooo glad you payed a few days of misery for to get your "real honest - drug free life" back!

So that was my 5th attempt w/ cold turkey on the Hydro's...and appears to be the last..So now I am down to 2 more addictions...one is gonna be a son of a _____? - Yeah cigarettes! - Not yet though...

Well thought I would drop in and say Hi to everyone, and hope everyone has had success, and is still moving forward, regardless of the doc!

Oh Todd...I missed you so much. I do still have it,. its my same email. Its been giving me some problems with certain email addresses so I had to go back to PM'ing some people. We got some new filter and certain emails won't come through or let me send an email out. So it depends. Your email should be ok. I am here now and will be till 4, you know the drill. I do have my computer at home, but won't be on at all tonight.

I am so happy to hear you are ok and still clean. I am so proud of you, WE are so proud of you. I miss you more then you could ever imagine. I find out next week what the baby is....YAY!!!....

5 1/2 months away seems like a dream to me yet. I'm now into the one day at a time phase. I'm just keeping my head down and trying to stay focused.

Sara...coming up on 10 Months?!!! - Thats awsome! It'snt wierd, how after the 2-3 mark, the days just start flying by, you dont even realize that your body is healing itself to normal everyday....the sober drug free life is better than any high or buzz there is in the world ! I am proud of you~!

"Upnorth"...Hey brother, my previous 4 attempts I never made it past Day 6, and I would cave in...Day 11 is GREAT, your pretty much out the 1st week of hell, and trust me, you just keep doing what your doing, and days turn into weeks, weeks into months, then years. Which means in 3 more day will be 2 weeks for you. Just keep the right motive that you started from Day 1 with, and dont let nothing or nobody stop you from drifting to the left or the right, just run straigh through with the right pure and honst motive, despite the mind playing its tricks...recognize it's part of the process, dont dwell on in, and stay busy..you're doing great for Day 11 !

Well it was very inspiring to hear your story..That is how I feel..I am so sick of those damn pills controlling my life!!
