60 days of NO vicodin today:)

I dreamed of one day being able to post this & betcha by golly wow here I am!  I did have a tracker mishap last week where I deleted everything, but if my calculations are correct, today marks 60 days! This 2nd month was WAY easier & went alot faster than the first 30 days.  For all you starting out or thinking about starting out, please have hope that u CAN do this.  I must have relapsed 50 times before being able to quit for good, and I know it will be a life long choice i will need to make every day not to use, but that's ok.  I see now that there is nothing great about getting high.  Wish it didn't take me so long to realize this though.  Please don't ever give up on yourself, if I could do it, anyone can.
Oh, and it has been 7 full days of NO xanax too & I feel fantastic today too. More energy then I have had in years.  If this is what the real me feels like, I have no idea why I spent so many years hiding from myself.

I remember posting my 60 day mark - hands shaking, eyes all misty. I feel the same emotion and excitement in this post.
Congrats doesn't seem adequate, considering what you've accomplished. Be very proud of yourself. Be watchful, and enjoy the days to come.
