60 days today

I just wanted to thank everyone on this board for their overwhelming support and information over the past few months. What I have gained here is nothing short of a miracle. I also want to encourage those just beginning their journey to stick with it. Being free of opiates is possible, something I would have never believed just 60 days ago.

Going from 100 mg of oxy daily to nothing, was quite an ordeal. But I have survived the worst part, and enjoying this next chapter of my life drug free. I know of all the "triggers" that creep up will be a challenge, but I have cut all my sources to pills, for good. Doctor knows NOT to prescribe anything to me that would endanger my sobriety.

Again, I cant thank each of you enough. I know I dont know all of you, but I have read your incredible posts and stories and feel like I know each of you.

All the best... Andy

Andy:
You have to be so proud of what you've done and what you're doing. 60 days is, well, I really don't have the words.  I found that from this point on things get better faster. Sure, you're still going to have bad days - such is life - but as I've posted before, for me any bad day clean was so much better than my best day using.
Congrats...Now on to 90, and beyond.

Hey Andy.....been off the board for a little while!  So much changes in everybody's life in less than 48 hrs!!  Amazes me...
So much sadness and so much joy......so no matter what may face me ahead, I can remember how much changed in so many lives on here in just a 48 hr period!!

NOW.........I've waited so long to post on this thread of yours I get to say "62 DAYS LOOKS REALLY GOOD ON YOU!!"

You have successfully gone thru the stress of the storms and your houses there; you even dealt with that situation at work.....and removed (without ingesting) the little present left under your keyboard!!
So now you are stronger......much stronger than you were each and every one of those 62 days that are now history....and you're making new history for yourself!!
Good on ya, Andy!
Blessings~
