9 months clean and sober!

hey, I am new here.  Unbelievably I just got 9 months off heroin and all other opiate pain killers/anti-anxiety.  Was on sabonxon for a month to help.  Coming to this site reminds me of how awful it was for me.  Withdrawal, sleeplessness, god the anxiety and lack of energy.  I never ever thought this could be possible.  Shot heroine for 15 years.  Still going through a lot of **** anxiety, uncontrolled emotions and such, but I do not use.  No anti-depressants either.  Want to wait at least a year before I decide on that.  I just come here when I feel like using and I get set straight real quick how awful it was.

glad you come here great place for help...congrats on the 9 months...I have 188 days clean from a 4 year addicition to percs and morphine.....isn't life great being clean and sober...God Bless...brian
