Addicted to Norco and Morphine

So much for pain management...  any know of ways to go "Cold Turkey?"

I hear ya, just quit! That i did yesterday.. now I'm fighting the demons in my head and the w/d's. I looked up the Thomas recipe, and printed it out, thanks for suggesting it. I do have a script for Valium, I took one this am, it has helped. I'm going to my local health food store in the morning to purchase the ingredients for Thomas's recipe. I've suffered from 5 rupted disks and went to pain management which prescribed 10/325 Norco and 15mg morphine. At first I took as prescribed, then..... More was better, then the vicious circle began. I am not w/o real pain, I have lived with it for years, so it is hard to deal w/o meds.

to stop cold turkey, you just quit.  right where you are, you say enough and stop.  the w/ds will start within a day...then you fight..in about a week you will start feeling better.  you can do this...have you check out some type of after care?  it is often the difference between success and failure....
