Addiction to the Fentanyl Patch

Question

I am not new to this forum but I have not been on in a really long time.  I was originally on Hydrocodone 10/500 and got myself off of them.  In May I started to see a new pain management doctor and he diagnosed me with all sorts of things and put me on the Fentanyl patch.  Needless to say I am back at square one with these addictive opiates.  This is worse though.  I took off my last patch (75mcg) last Wednesday and finally starting to feel better.  Can't sleep though and that is why I am here.  I also decided to begin an outpatient program and went for the first time today.  I am determined to make it stick this time.  Anyway this past weekend was utterly HELL!!!  But I made it through it, I did go to the ER for help and they gave me clonodine, vesteril, and ambian.  The only thing that was worth taking was the ambian because it does produce sleep even with the severe anxiety and restlessness.  When you get the sleep it does help because there are a few hours that go by without having to think about the drug and how I feel.  Today I felt like I had someone sitting on my chest all day.  It seemed to go away and I am finally starting to lose that extremely pissed off feeling where you just want to break something.  Anyway I don't know if I wanted to ask a question, I think I just wanted to tell someone my story.  But I will ask a question, when do the body aches go away?

Well, IDK about the Fentanyl, but i have had w/d's from Hydrocodone and it is also pure hell, as you know! But, i would think that the w/d will probobly last as long as the hydro w/d. You know........forever! lol But seriously, probobly really hard for about 8-10 days, then just weak and sucky for the next 2-3 weeks. That's what i think!!!

I detoxed off the fentanyl patch over 2 months ago and it was pure hell! The worst experience of my life. I was on 150mcg and did it pretty much cold turkey. I you need any help or questions just private message me. I went through a lot!
