Am I going through withdrawal symptoms?

Was taking Lyrica since Jan/Feb 2013 for fibromyalgia. Dosage went to 50mg 3x a day to 200mg 1x in the morning, 1x in the evening. Then, in this month was seen by a doctor who increased the dosage from 200mg to 400mg, 200 in the morning, 200 in the evening. Started to feel "high." Reduced medicine to 300mg, 100mg 1x in the morning, 200mg in the evening. Still felt "high." Cried all day through out the day. Called this doctor and told her that I fell asleep and forgot to take pm dosage. Told her that I wanted to get off of Lyrica all together. Feeling very depressed, anxious, and continue to feel sad and crying spells. Started taking generic Neurontin per this doctor at 100mg a day. Am still sad and crying. Went to see my psychiatrist who told me to increase the Neurontin to 300mg  a day and advise doctor who prescribed it to me. This was 4/19/13. Still am feeling very sad, depressed, and anxious. It is now 4/22/13. Am I going through withdrawal?

Yes you can have withdrawl from Lyrica
I take it an it works great for my Fibro I don't feel "high" or nothing but it is different for everyone
When I stop taking it I'm sick for a couple days I puck first day or two chills icky tummy then it's over
So yes the nurotin will help if the dose is upped

I'm suppose to take 200mg 1 morning 1 nite but j only take one a day that way if I run out ( I live in an 18 wheeler pretty much all the time with my hubby an don't always get back to my doctor on time) easier to go off of if lower dose

I had very bad withdrawals from Lyrica.  You are on a low dose of neurotin so you may want to talk to your doctor about increasing it.  You need a lot more neurotin to equal Lyrica.  It is similar but neurotin is much weaker than Lyrica and you have to take a ton to have the same effect.  I preferred Lyrica but it was too expensive.  I have learned that all of these drugs have withdrawals however we don't abuse them like opiates.
