Ambien to get off Hydrocodone. please!!

I have read that Ambien is non-narcotic.  Will this help me sleep the first few days of being off hydrocodone?  I was prescribed 10mg.  I am not sure if this is a lot or a little.  I get the leg cramps and insomnia when I try to stop the HC.  Any suggestions? Will this be helpful, or make the issue at hand worse?

Like you my worst symptom was RLS, and sleep...I even had it in my arms and shoulders,  don't wish that on anyone!!  i know some took ambiem the first few days and it helped, some it made them do things they didn't remember....
The thing that worked best for me was zanaflex, and of course like Alli said, many many hot baths...good luck

Ambien will help.  Hot baths will help with cramps and also relax you to help sleep as well. I would take 3 or 4 a night!!

Have you tried bendadryl...........that is what I took to help me sleep.

I would definitely say take it to sleep. You want to sleep...(and it's nothing like what you've been taking)
