Benzo Withdrawel

A doctor said it was ok to cut Clonazapam at a rate way too fast for me. I've got about every symptom in the book and am quite ill. Is reinstating after five months off advised and does it work. Several benzo sites have said no and I want some medical information as a doctor told me too, yes, reinstate. Does this ever work?

Benzo withdrawls are by far the worst withdrawl you can go through. My girlfriend got off them in Dec, she had hallucinations for a month, no memory, all kinds of horrible ****. She still sweats like crazy at night. She is like a furnace when she sleeps. She almost died detoxing. I wouldn't recommend going back on them. Just tough it out. It;'s hard but you can do it. AT 5 months off you aren't having w/d's, you are either having cravings for the drug or something else is going on. You can get off Benzo's in a month of tapering but if you've been off 5 months and are having problems I would get checked out to make sure there isn't anything else going on.
