Can I use darvocert to get off of oxycodone?

I am on a high dose of oxy for medical reasons but would like to get off. Can I use Darvocet to taper off of the oxAny advice would he appreciated.

You are really just replacing one opiate with another but if you have the will power and slowly do the taper then you should be able to do it. Good luck!

You could probobly use any hydrocodone medication to taper frm the Oxy's... Anything that has an opiate in will help with the withdrawls.

hey im on vicodin es for back surgery i ahd years ago. im hooked bur have tried darvocet, it def helps with withdrawals, but when they run out i tend to still be looking for something. im a mess and need to stop...im in the process. i actually just got them prescibed to me, that and xanax. we will see what happens hopefully me being clean!
