Can height, weight, and gender play a role on systems

Can your size and gender play a role on how your body recovers from these withdrawals?  I'm on day 7 and see so many doing better than myself.  I'm thinking what is wrong with me... Why aren't I doing as well as others.  I just shake all the time and have no energy, and still have to force myself to eat.  It doesn't take much food for my stomach to feel so full it could explode.  I don't know if I've been through this so many times I can't count and this is the longest I've done it or what.  I hate my body right now.

ricart is absolutely correct...What were you taking, how much daily and for how long a period of time? A couple of months, years? Those factors, along with age will most likely determine what you will experience. I've messed with meds for over ten years. My most recent, and final, detox was like nothing I've ever experienced, and I attribute that to the strength of the meds, my daily usage and length of usage, and that I'm ten years older than I was when I did my first detox.  We are all different; some heal faster than others, however, one thing is constant - it does get better. That's a promise.

HI Georg
It really depends more on your age,how much you were taking each day, length of time of use and which drug you were taking.I was taking 150-200 mgs of oxy/roxy
per day for a year this last time.My withdrawal lasted every bit of 21 days with a lack of energy that lasted another 30 days beyond that.
What were you using and how much.Just hang in there and know you are healing every day even though I know it does not feel like it.For this suffering to pay off you must see it through.Great job on the 7 days .Let us know how you're doing as this is a great place for support
