Can someone pls help!!

Hi I'm a 40yr drug/methadone addict I have been off illicit drugs for more than 20yrs now but on mmt. I have a real problem with the idiot Dr at my clinic who is also an addict/alcoholic. I was injured on the job 14yrs ago and although I get vicodin I only take them when the pain is to much to handle. The clinic has been aware of this script for over 8 yrs now all of a sudden they want me to sign a release to tell my comp Dr I'm on mmt yes I should have told him from the get but was afraid he would look at me like all the others have like I'm just out to get dope. They are threatening me with a 5 mg drop every 3 days. I ask the dr don't u think thats a little fast for someone who's been on it for over 20yrs? Of course he said no also even if my comp dr is ok with all this he said if I continue to get my script from my neurologist it will b considered as a dirty he will tell the dr what I can have. So do I have any recourse? He is making sure the detox is going to make me suffer because I challenged him. Please if anyone knows of a fed or state reg that can stop this jerk from ruining my life help me. LC

Thanks for responding to my post sorry I haven't gotten back to u before now to many irons in the fire ya know. I know all about methadone I have been on it for a very long time and I have also came off it to many times to count. Yes that fast of a detox is meant to be hard they (methadone clinic's) like that power. Its to show the clients they have the upper hand. Let me explain one thing to you your looking at this like these pills are getting me high of course u aren't going to feel them like that, but they do help alleviate some of the pain.Its called break threw pain and a lot of pain clinics give methadone and Vic's or oxes etc..Although methadone does not work like a pain killer for addicts it may help a little but its main function is to keep u from wanting drugs and from going through with drawls. So before you tell someone what they feel or don't feel get the facts don't just assume someone is BS u I'm not trying to b a smart *** but what may not work for u may work for someone else. I see u keep saying u felt nothing thats the difference right there I don't want to feel I just want the pain to go away. I spoke with my Dr its all taken care of my whole complaint was the way the clinic forced me to comply. I found out after the fact they had no basis for their actions. Listen if your on Methadone, you do not need Vicoden. Theres no way you will feel 10mgs of hydrocodone through Methadone. What's your dose first of all? Second that fast of a detox is brutal,ive known people stuck trying to get off 5mgs for 2yrs..Methdone stays in your body,its synthetic. I had to kick 120mgs daily dose for over 2yrs in 5 days,of course it didnt work,i kept relapsing because i was hurting, then detox,rehab,relapse. Took 6-8months for me to feel somewhat normal. Now back to the vicoden,you dont need them if your on Methadone,theres no way its working for you. I couldnt feel heroin on low doses of Methadone so dont ******** here, now if you need your vicodens cause your selling them or whatever. you need you to consider whats more important. Giving up a stupid vicoden script or getting rapidly detoxed off a serious narcotic and in extreme agony which can send you right back to illicit drugs. Have them increase your methadone until your comfortable and ditch the doctor and vicoden. Im sure you get take home bottles of meth..if your not in pain for what you use the vicoden for then save a little aside for when you do get pain. Which i still cannot see happening. Im sorry im my lowest of meth I felt nothing,hurt myslef so many times with out realizing it, Just please get real,especially with yourself. It will only help.
