i meant to add that if your dose of sub is low, you can TRY to up your dose of the sub to see if it helps your pain, i know a few people who swear by it for pain, it does seem to help my everyday pain, but doesnt touch my flare ups.....""of course ask your doctor first""..it would be better than taking that step back, i dont think you want that deep in your heart...finding a way to combat pain is a tricky thing...
good luck!!!

i was on xanax (for sleep) and klonopin (for daily panic/anxiety) with my suboxone...i am now off the xanax, and i start my tapering off the klonopin next refill, (doctor recommended taking me off, and i agreed, i do not want another addiction, she will be finding an alternative for me, non-addictive , i hope, or at least something i can take when needed instead of everyday)...doctors do and can prescribe both together...BUT, it can be dangerous for someone whose tolerance isnt there ..i am only on 1 mg of k-pins daily...and i dont get those dangerous side effects..but i am on a low dose and dont abuse them either..
i also read that the danger is not a "REAL DANGER"..a few people over in Europe overdosed on benzos and sub and died when it was first introduced to fight addiction, so this is where the warning came from originally, but these people also were abusing the subutex by not putting it under their tongue, but they were shooting it up...i have read this numerous places, but i couldnt tell you if it the ONLY reason the warnings and dangers are there, this is just where they originated from...
if you suffer from panic.anxiety disorder, there really isnt much for options unfortunately, which puts me at risk for another addition...i am getting off them, it will take me up to 6 months to do it at just 1 mg per day, UGH!
Hi and THANKS.
Still unfortunately i have got nowhere. Yes the doc knows im high levels of both temaze and diazempam as he prescribes them. i was on them for a long time when i was trying to get off all the morphine etc. But it didnt work, hence why im on the sub. Problem is though that i cant go any higher dose than that as im already on 32mg. I am honestly in pain. Yes i totally admit i used to love that high i got from the morph but it didnt last long as the doses just got higher and higher, and i dont want to go back. I feel like ive fallen in a ditch and cant get anywhere closer to the end of the awful withdrawl tunnel of drug induced hell. I do take a heap of benzos at night i just want to sleep, not feel the pain, but i lay next to my partner and am afraid he will find me dead in the morning... Again anyone for ideas. P.S. TO John in america whereever you are maybe i need a holiday there with all there treatments lol. P.P.S IM ENGAGED!!! My partner proposed we are getting married valentines day 2009, i just hope to be around and normal for him by then. THANKYOU ALL xxx luv kezza.
Hello kezza,I would first thing first, get all your hralth/pain conditions put in working order.Kezza cronic pain condition does exist, its not just people trying to get a buzz that use narcotic pain-meds.Hon what the use of getting off all the pain meds and benzodiazepanes only to be living in agony. In Toronto where i live one ofour major hospitals have a all -inclisive multi-faceted pain management centre. The program is remarkable all forms of pain treatment from narcotic pain-meds to Biofeedback.hypnosis art classes psychotherapy, water therapy where you get bombarded by different intensities a pressure, its cool!!.ALso the dr. dont make us feel like criminals and people only trying to scam percocets, ocys, fentanyl. They have and supply without that LOOK anything that will help treat our pain. The scammers are weeded-out quick as they dont keep there oppointment, they only go to the oppointments where the dr. writes the pain-meds.Also they at first feel you-out and theres group therapy. It helped me and i am better for going.john
It sounds like you need or want to go back on the narcotics. What was it like before the sub? Sub doesn't sound like a miracle drug but has worked for some. all the best
I would be very careful about that. I've heard there are contraindications with suboxone and benzo's........May be very SERIOUS. Do some research. Does your sub doc know your taking benny's???? PLEASE be careful. I will do some checking on that or if anyoe else knows......I would hate to see something bad happen to you. Thats a hefty dose.
Luv,
Nauty.............
I really don't know what to say here. I would say talk to your doctor. Maybe they would up the sub until your fracture heels. Going back on the pain pills is just that ....going back. This is a tuff one . Maybe others will have some good advise.
