Can't urinate with Suboxone

I started taking Suboxone on Friday, 16mg per day and now I can't urinate, is this a side effect? does anybody have a possible solution for this? it hurts really bad.

turn on the water,wet your hands and gargle with water at the same time and relax.you will go

Thanks everybody, it seems to back to normal and I did put a call into the doctor.

Don't worry. It is harder to urinate, its like stage fright, but it will work after a bit. I also experience that as well as no sex drive what so ever.

I have been on sub for 3 months any questions just send me a message.

Let the doctor know on Monday .It is probably making it more difficult to go the important things is you can go .I had something like this happen after surgery once  difference is I litterly could not go they had to cath me every time I had to go for almost a week after .So if it gets to the point you are not able to go at all go to the ER if not call doc mon.

Thanks for the response, I just went and it was such a relief, but I've been having the problem after starting the Subs.

I don't have any personal experience with sub,but if you are keeping yourself hydrated and you haven't urinated there is definitely something wrong and you need to seek medical attention ASAP.The thing is that even if someone else who was taking the sub experienced a similar situation that DOES NOT mean thats why it is happening to you.There could be something else going on.You're safest options are to try and get in touch with your doctor or go to the ER.Don't put this off please.Seek medical attention now.All the best...Kim
