Hi everyone I haven't posted on here n a while just wanted to let everyone know my delivery went great.  Baby was great n I'm so thankful for that!! A week later though I went to doc n everything was fine left went to Walmart n started having a horrible migraine. .. went to my mother's where my baby was and they were gonna drive me home cause I felt that bad...and then something horrible happened I started having seizures!!! Then they thought something was wrong with my heart so they did a heart catheterization on me.  Turns up my heart was ok but my BP has been crazy!  Then I left that hospital n went home that night n could barely breath. So next day went back to diff hospital n turned out I has pneumonia.  What are your guys thoughts on all this... n sorry for the length of this thanks everyone for reading

I am so happy to see so many people responding and to know I am not alone...it still scares me, I don't want my baby to have withdrawals and I wanna breastfeed but because of the subutex I don't know if they will let me...BTW, I am 10 weeks 5 days with my first. I miscarried in august so that scares me also....

Hi caselyn yes its true what amanda says about stopping the subs! It is so dangerous for the baby it will put him/her in too much distress. Here in the uk my doc let me taper dwn slightly in the second trimester only n monitoried me very closely i had to stop
tapering once i reached my third trimester
She would not let me go no further then in
case of distressing baby. Plz go back to ur
doc u need to be on a stable dose! Let us know how u go on n how u r.good luck.and congrats to you.x

It nice for others going through what you are to see how things turn out for someone who has been there, ya know.  And I would really like to know how it turns out for you. What does your sub doctor say about this? I've had the same doctor during both of my pregnancies and he has completely refused to let me get off of them even though I've begged him to. When I got pregnant this time I was in the process of tapering off of them,  down to 4mgs and he still wouldn't let me he told me I had to say right where I was until after my baby is born. U have to be careful with the ob doctors not knowing what they are talking about when it comes to subutext.  Trust me they know nothing about it, when I had my other daughter 3 years ago in the hospital they were going to give me suboxin and percs together how stupid. Every one knows you cant take the two together,  I would have been so sick! If you start feeling bad make sure you get back on them its not good for the baby and will most definitely put u into premature labor, I know people who this has happened to and it was only off percs. Thank u so much for ur response.  My doctor wanted me to be off of it before baby was born too. But that's exactly what I thought that it would throw me into labor from the stress it puts me on. I'm scared  I guess I'll c where it takes me. Ty so much.

Honey you really shouldn't stop taking them. Especially being this far along! You can send yourself into preterm labor and that would be even worse on your little man. Please get to a doctor and let them know what is going on. Since you aren't on that high of a dose I really doubt that the baby would go through withdrawal when he is born. I understand how you feel but it is definitely safer just to stay on the subutext. Trust me I know I've been told by every doctor I've seen. And this unfortunately is the second time I've been pregnant on them. At one time I was on 16mg had weeened all the way down to 3mgs then I found out I was pregnant again and the doctor refused to let me finish tapering since I'm pregnant now. Hope you make the right decision for you and your baby. I know it ***** but u have to do what is safest for your baby!

I am 32 wks and just took my last half of a 2 mg subutex.  I am so scared now the withdraws about kill me I have only been on subutex for 4 or so months just to help me get off loratabs. Does anybody have ideas of what could help make process easier on me I'm scared to death. I just want to be off them to make it easier for my son. Please let me kno of any ideas thank u so much.

Just wanted to add if you breastfeed I've heard it helps ween the baby down and should help him not have withdrawal.

So sorry to hear that but keep praying and hopefully everything will work its way out. Congratulations to you also, very cute name!  What is your due date? I think the baby will only have very little withdrawal if any since your dose is so low. I'll also be praying that neither of our little boys have to go through any withdrawal and are both very healthy. I wouldn't stress to much all u can do ishope for the best, pray and leave it in gods hands! Trust me I know how you feel though. Its nice to have someone to talk to going through the same things. Hope you keep in touch and let me know how its going. I'm not due until march 20th so your little one will arrive first. Aawwe thankyou so much i so hope ur right too.im having a boy and hes my first were calling him charlie michael ingram. Im excited to meet him but im terrified of the withdrawals. Sorry to hear that, it takes longer sometimes for men to get it. But maybe when the baby comes and he sees it, it will be a big wake up call for him ya know. Do you know what you are having? I'm having a little boy finally lol I already have 2 beautiful daughters one who will be 10 soon and a 3 year old. Do you have any other children? I'll be praying for you in hopes your bf will wake up and see what a great life you guys can have together if you are both clean. I truly believe god sees how hard we work to stay clean and he rewards us greatly if we do. I just wish people who are struggling could see that it might help them reach their goals!

Awwwe im so glad that ur life has turned around for the better thats brilliant.really chuffed for u.i started herion at the age of fifteen unfourtunatley and i had a very tuff time until i was about 26/27 then i got into snorting subbies n other tabs such as benzos n stuff then finally got into a subutex porograme.that was about 7 yrs ago nw.but hit alcohol bad and went thro a few abusive relationships n hit alcohol m benzos bad at one point i cud of lost my life due to the booze but i pulled thro then finally met my df of 6 1/3 yrs stayed clean n finally battled the booze.and here i am now happily pg for the 1st time in my life!!in an ideal world i wud of prefred to ave bin of the sub first but im still happy. We dnt live 2gether yet as there is a slight issue there with the s.services thing.you c my df is on a sub programme but he has been caught on a few positive h tests so he has to prove to them he can stay clean before we can do that.also if he continues then he will b on closed visits to c his son :-(

Glad to help!  It ***** social services is involved but as long as you are doing well it should be fine, here in the us they only get involved if the baby has to be treated after birth or if there is other drugs in the baby's system. Or if the subs are not through a doctor. Glad to hear you are not having a c-secion though its hard to manage the pain since the subutext is a blocker, I think you'll be fine. And i think the baby will do fine since you are on such a low doseage. Good luck to you both if you need anything just let me know I'm on here a lot and more than happy to help! Do you mind me asking what you are on the subutext for? I was addicted to herion for about 4 years had got put on suboxin and found out that I was pregnant like a month later. I'm so glad I did though the subutext and getting pregnant really saved my life, my husband and I have been clean from herion for almost 4 years now. Our lives are so much better and now we have a great life to give our children. God has blessed us with so much he has a great job now we have a nice house and can give our children a great life something that would have never been possible if we wouldn't have gotten clean. And thanks to him getting a good job I can be a stay at home mom.

Im in the uk and i know they wont medicate him if not necassay which is a relief.t.im being informed that we will both have to stay in four days minimum and they dnt think that he should need to be medicated(fingers crossed).its nice to hear your little one was ok and is thriving now too that gives me some releif thankyou.
Im actually prescribed 2.4mg but only take 2mg most of the time.im having him vagainaly which im nervous about too just hoping the gas n air n epidural work for me.
Ive already got social services getting involved which is extra stressing me out n im a ftm too so the pressures on!
Oh i almost forgot to say i dont know what im goin to say to freinds n family that dnt know the score.especially if we ave to stay longer.oh no really worried!!.thanks again for replying.x

Just wanted to add that with my last baby I was on 8mg so its great that you are only on 2.4mg a lot less of a chance the baby will have withdrawal and have to be weened off. I'm on about 3mgs this time around so I'm hoping things go even better this time and he has no withdrawal at all! It ***** so bad having to see your precious little baby go through something so horrible and know its because of what you took.

I completely understand! Hopefully you have the baby at a hospital that won't just start the baby on something for withdrawal at the first little sneeze or sign of withdrawal. I was very lucky well my daughter was, they was going to treat her with methadone but waited and she ended up not needing it. So they just kept her there for a while to watch her and to make sure she was eating ok. She was there 10 days all together but never treated with anything. And now she is a happy healthy very smart 3 year old that has had no problems from being on it. Hope this helps ease your mind a little! Hi im pg on subutex im 36+3 days and on 2.4mg. I so hope my baby has no withdrawals im c****ing myself about it everyday!!im so anxious n worried!! Its nice to know im not alone tho.

Hope you get back on here, there is a ton of great help on here. And its full of understanding and none judgemental people who just want to help! And I have a lot of experience with being pregnant on subutext unfortunately since this is the second time I have been.  Just to let you know I have a 3 year old that I was pregnant and on subutext with. She has had no problems from it and when she was born only had slight withdrawal symptoms so she didn't have to be weened off. I would like to help you in anyway I can completely judgment free of course since I've been in your shoes.
