I was on trams and Norcos. I would go heavy on trams and run out then go heavy on norcos. I felt a withdrawal each time I would do that even while being on one of them. They have different mechanisms of action with tramadol having some antianxiety effects which is why you may be feeling the way you do. Norco is a true opiate were trams are not but with similiar effects. Just wean yourself down, stay hydrated, and keep posting. I had to quit cold turkey and am only on day 4 off everything but I had a large detox in October, took pills a few other times so the symptoms are not too bad this time. Some mild body aches, sweats, and depression. I'm done..sick and tired aof feeling sick and tired. Hang in there.
Hi chad and welcome to the forum! It's been unusually quiet here lately and I'm sorry you're freaking out. Take a deep breathe, and know you have come to a good place and you are not alone. First thing I would do is flush Trams and all scripts for it asap. It has a kick A w/d and is longer than the Vics according to folks here who have experience with it. Use the Thomas recipe shown below to treat the symptoms. Anxiety is normal right now. Tell us more about your medical history if any and sources so we can advise properly about what to do next. Stay calm and stay connected here.
I don't know the answer to your question but I can tell you in my experience I can still have withdrawal symptoms when I am out of oxy and take hydro. Sorry you haven't gotten the support you were looking for but it looks like more people have responded on your original thread.
I have been here a long time also, still trying to get and stay clean. Each relapse teaches me something new. What I know for sure is beating yourself up is the worst thing you can do. We are addicts and as long as we never give up trying we are not dumb.
Hey Andrew... Where are you at in the process now?? If you are stopping tramadol why are you starting vicodin?
