Day 10, A thanks to all!

Well I just woke up to 10 days clean today and I'm kinda proud of myself because I cannot remember the last time I went 10 days without any kind of substance in like... 20 years.  It's been one heck of a ride for sure, with alot of ups and downs but I'm here and I feel fulfilled today, today is a day to celebrate and only concentrate on the positives.

I wanted to thank EVERYONE  who have played a role in getting me to where I am today. I couldn't have done this without you guys.  Every post, every piece of advice, every word of encouragement, no matter how big, or small, played a role in getting me here.  You people are truly amazing, to set aside some of your time to help out total strangers makes you some of the most compassionate people I have ever seen. Thank you so much!

Just an update to those who are curious, I went to my first AA meeting last nite and I have an appt with an addiction therapist on Monday the 21st.  I'm determined to keep this ball rolling.

Again, THANK YOU to everyone and good luck to those of you who have begun a journey to a clean and sober life. God bless you and good luck to all.

Hey dude....wow seam like you just got here yesterday congrats on 10 days  im always happy to here when someone says there going to get aftercare it makes all the difference in the world it is a critical step in long term sobrity I wish you all the best in your recovery good luck and God bless.....Gnarly

Way to go on 10 days! By attending aftercare you just upped your chances at success by probably over 80%! If we put as much work into our recovery as we did our using days there is noway we will fail.
