What a feeling!!!!

Well guys, it s presently 6:15 Alberta Canada time,  i just did as i have been saying i was going to do. I took my last 2 percs and flushed 88 of them. I am flooding with so many different thought and emotions  right know. I cant believe that i am following through with my plan!!!! Now that that obstical is behind me, i am ready to experience everything that this withdrawl has in store for me. Ten years of hell is coming to an end, and although i have never in my life been more affraid, nothing is goimg to stop me. I want my life back. My kids are 8 and 6 years old and i have been wasted everyday of their precious lives. I feel so guilty, selfish and ashamed. They deserve so much better, and they are going to have it. Pls comtinue with your encouraging messages, i will need them! Thank you all so much, i really wouldnt even be this far without you r help and support. I know along road lies ahead, but i know with the help of my Lord and personal savior, Jeaus Christ and all my friends on this forum, as well as my awesome husband and children, i can overcome this addiction once and for all.God Bless each and everyone of you.

Keep up the good thoughts, after 3-days of hell it really does get better and the other side is really clear.  You have things I never had but the light is very clear when you get there

Way to go girl !!!  You can and will do this just keep posting.  I can't tell you how much the great people here helped me and are willing to do the same for you.  I spent hours on here reading and posting.  Don't overwhelm yourself with thinking about the fear, keep thinking about your kids and how much they're going to have to look forward to when you conquer this.  I'm sure you're an awesome mom, but just keep thinking to yourself "My kids haven't seen anything yet !!!"  You're in my thoughts and prayers...Dave

That is a BIG step and the one you had to do to start the process!  Good for you.  It is a powerful statement to how much you want this.  Your children will benefit, but you will benefit more.  Each day I am clean is another good day.  Even as sick as I am today (sinusitis, fever, cough, sore throat) it is still a great day!  Keep it up and keep posting it helps so much!!!

Jen...please try not to worry so much. The fear of what will come is almost always worse than what actually happens. That is a good thing looking back, but we all understand fear. Just try to let what happens wash over you and walk through it the best you can...you know all the ways to make it easier. Just take it an hour at a time. In a couple of weeks you will be so much better and what is that compared to 10 years? YOU CAN DO IT! GO GO GO! And now tell me to go ahead and CT now and get my detox over with, too!
