Day 19 off of vicodin but tired and foggy in the head

Does anyone else ever suffer from this feeling of just being really foggy in your mind.  I cannot seem to think clearly...I feel like I am i a fog and just tired, slightly depressed and have an achy body.  I actually think I have always had these issues which shift with my hormaonly shifts during the month and my addition started with self medicating for it.  I don't know if it depression or something i just need to learn to deal with or if it just from coming of of the drugs and will get better...any thoughts?

hey girlee....the fog will lift in time you sorta go thew cycles where you feel better then bam your down again just give it time...when you hit around 30 days you will start to notice improvements its different for everyone so you may find it happens sooner for you
this is nothing you notice one day at a time but rather ever few days or a week or so you will notice your doing better then you where the week b/4 just hang in there and know it will get better ...this is why so many wind up going back they cant deal with the fallout
of getting better ...it dosent always feel like your making progress but each day your clean your that much closer to being better...I was strung out on methadone for 6 1/2yrs
so its been a real grind getting better for me I got 110days now and its just been over the last few weeks that I really feel like myself again ...but as you progress you will feel better at 30 then 60 then 90 days each time you feel more like yourself
good luck to you keep up the good fight .....it is so so worth it.....Gnarly

I also feel foggy and am having periods of time that feel like the initial withdrawal.  I hate it and am struggling.  I dont have access to any but I sure would be in trouble if I did.  So...your fog is over me too but so many people have said it will end.  I am taking their word for it!!

The fog will lift soon.  Very uncomfortable feeling i know.  Supplements really do help speed this up.  Seems like an eternity when it is happening tho.  Hang in there....Your doing great!!       sara

Yes!!! Its' all a part of it! I have been taking B12, and DHEA supplement and it is really working for me and the brain fog. I felt so much "sharper" and "on it" when I took my vics, so been a few weeks but it is gonna get better! Orange Juice, lots of veggies will help too!
