I know abt. the "no" energy feeling, it is just pathetic to feel that way !! Energy comes back slowly, do everything you can do build it up, B viatamins, coffee, short walks, It really does take some time to feel better, our body goes through so much with detox and our brain receptors take awhile to wake up, sometimes a couple months.
Be good to yourself too.
Ella
I am right behind you ! We can do this, but I think we need friends here too. If you ever wanna chat. Let me know. Im pulling for you. Im just starting day 2..and also feeling horrible but haven't caved
Hard to say when it will come back, but it will. I think it took me almost 2 weeks. (Sorry) to really feel like myself. I had to make myself move. I would go up and down the stairs, sit down and do it again for 15 min. I thought I would pass out.
Not eating is not good for energy. Maybe get something like Ensure and vits!!
Keep drinking lots of fluid. Green tea helps flush your system out too.
Keep up the great work!!!

Try the amino acid L-Tyrosine......500 to 2000mg in the morning before breakfast with a hot cup of coffee for energy..............

I posted yesterday that my amazing wife booked me a massage and it felt so good. She has also been reading up on getting through this stuff and tonight decided to be a task master of sorts. She told me that I needed to put some shorts on because she told the kids that we were going to go on a walk. Really _not_ what I wanted to do at that moment, but she was hell bent.
So, we went for a walk. A little over a mile. And I lived. And it actually felt good. Kind of.
I made it through day 3. Now for day 4. And day 5. And day 6....
Darling. I can completely relate also addicted to hydrocodone. It's rough babe. The restlessness...the flu symptoms....and tremors. My heart is with you in my past experience cold turkey for 7 days about 6 months ago, I still felt awful and nothing helped...this time I did use a very hot heating pad which helped some with the back pain at night......HE will show you the way and protect you. I pray that you remain strong and steadfast......you can do this. We are here for you praying for you and can be your shoulder to lean on or cry on. God Bless.
Better keep that wife LOL. She is doing a great job as your coach. No one ever believes about the exercise. You gotta do a long and hard walk. I started making a little regimine for myself. I would walk for a half hour or so at 9;00 watch a certain TV show sitting up...get a hot bath at the same time...certain time for a snack....Basicly made kindof a schedule including times to lie down. This kept me from just lying in bed waiting for the next day to pass. You won't want to go out, go for walks, do things but getting clean is all about relearning to do the things we don't want to. I'm glad you are feeling better Congrats on day 3. Day 4 was always the day when I felt better. Hope it is for you as well. God bless, Corey
Moving...nuttin like it when u feel like dirt..helps stress, fatigue..and depression..gets those stubborn endorphins working that we attempted to fry during binging..ie using...hard to do when u feel like u weigh more than the planet earth cos u r so tired...but if u just do it..it works wonders
I just stopped taking Oxycodone took for the last four years a script of 100 a month and still ran out a week or two early every month. Had to buy off of the streets. Got sick of this monthly search for perks. So as I got to the end of my bottle I started to break the perk 10s in half until all gone. Wow what a ruff time had the shakes like no other in the bathroom constantly I had to work I am running a 13 million dollar construction job. Never new about this forum I thought I was the only pearson on earth that ever felt like this. My family never even new I was on them. I think about going to the docter still but I know that I cant. I would hate to get this far and have to go back through that pain again. Quit for three weeks now how long have you been done.
