Day 3, No Oxy's

Hey all, day 3, still clean!!!! We feel sooo much better today. This morning at around 6am jason woke me up becus he was having terible pains in his back, so bad that he could barely walk. I got the heating pad for him and rubbed some icy hot gel on his back and gave him some Asprin and when he woke up he was all better. I'm still really nausous but no more aches.

Alot of people have been asking me if we had any plans for after care and the truth is we really dont have a plan. I've seen drug counsellors before and they've helped NADA!!!! I cant belive u need a degree to become a drug counsellor!! I may has well jsut went to visit my mom....lol. Not to insult anyone reading this who may be a drug counsellor (maby it was just the ones i saw). I dont think they even have N/A anon in this town and if they did i really wouldn't be up for it as this is a small town. The thing is that getting our ordinary live back is aftercare in itselfl. Since we started doing oxy's we found ourselves spending time with people that we didn't like or respect, we completly alienated ourselves from all our friends and our friends were definatly not into this kinda thing.

We have plans made with our friends for next wkd alreadly. Right now we're just taking things day by day.

hey girl. so glad to see you.  day3 is awesome.  i am so proud of you both.  keep moving forward...you have come so far in a short time.  be prepared for the cravings they will come.  give your mom a huge hug she deserves it lol.  keep us posted.  i am still praying for you guys

You guys are doing really well!  If you don't feel like going to drug counseling, I feel that you should keep posting here.  It has helped me a lot , it is like having an online NA.

I am so proud of you guys!!!  this is great news...you guys can make it through this hun...

i think the reason people (including me, lol!) are stressing aftercare is so you dont relapse and are able to make all the neccessary changes in your lives so you dont relapse, also learn how to deal with cravings, temptaion , PAWS and any other issue that comes along with drug addiction..
although i have been going to therapy since may, i really havent gotten much from it myself to be honest, but if your able to find "the right one" they say it really does help, and it does take a long time, its really is a LLLOOONNNG dragged out process...i am still hoping its going to help me in the long run...it really is the truth when people say, getting clean is the easy part, staying clean is where all the work comes in...that IS true hun, just be aware of it, ok?

but for now...just get through this part and see how you do, if your addiction was short term, you may do ok without it..
either way...i am so happy for you guys!!!!.
